  • the fight below me is really disheartening. where i come from, the community and all the communities surrounding it are very supportive and respectful of their fire departments, and the different agencies respond and work together as one team. its sad to see two people who take on the incredibly respectful, responsible position of a firefighter lower themselves to the level of bickering kids online

  • The only time they come in automatic alarms for the most part, is if the fucking caller states an alarm is going off!

  • @1417firefighter Lets see if your Chief and FD Officials think so much of you mouth1417.

You'll never be anymore than you are now, and thats really sad.

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 they'll tell you to go fuck your self. They don't care.

  • dude, i know what the fuck a structure fire fucking means! you stupid fucking yard beater! You will find in P.A. when any call to a house or commercial building w/e it may be, they come in as fucking fire's not automatic alarms! ok? ok! get fucking use to it! its how most of P.A. dispatches!

  • why on all these firefighting videos there so much anger.. Aren't we all brothers?

  • Bucks county PA?

  • @Tr2u1ck Berks

  • your retarded if you think we would play pranks like that on each other, YES we do play pranks like no others and go pretty far to get a laugh some times but there is a line and endangering ours and others lives to run emergency traffic for no reason id past that line WELL past that line!!

  • Just to clear the subject for the newbies or the dump ass rokies or wannabe's, when there is a fire specially a structure fire the first initial step before there is black smoke meaning the fire its getting fuel there will be smoke vapor just vapor now vapor may or may not be visible right of the bat, it will take 1.30 minutes on a normal house with reg furniture to see black smoke the most time that it takes to get black smoke according to my experience is 5.20 minutes so make your conclusion

  • why is there a ladder truck

  • @1417firefighter So there own Firefighters call in a Structure Fire, but there obviously isn't??

Sounds like either they don't know what a structure fire is, or this was preplanned maybe?

    Sure is questionable huh?

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 So, you call your self a chief huh? Let's back up a moment here. You call yourself a chief and don't know that smoke don't have to be showing for a structure fire! I ran A BUNCH of call's to our own members house for "structure fire's" for a no go show. We NEVER planned nothing. So, sounds like your one STUPID ASS CHIEF, or your just trying to start shit here. i do NOT think your a chief. LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT FIREFIGHTING YOU DUMB ASS!

  • @1417firefighter Since your vocabulary is that of a back alley drunk, i won't even deal with your wannabe mentality.

You need to learn about fire not smoke from a barbeque Pit and call it a structure fire.

Go to school instead of worrying about lights, and sirens, pretend Firefighter!

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 okay, "chief". There does not have to be smoke for it to be a structure fire ok? do you know how many calls i run a DAY for structure fires and pull up in the engine and its a no go show? a LOT so you should know this. YOUR company might run structure fires and have firebut not every company does now take your dumb ass somewhere else and excuse them and not a good company like the one in the video

  • @1417firefighter A bunch of calls, to firefighters houses? Sounds really good here guy. tells us more.

  • @1417firefighter Structure fire

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJump to: navigation, search

A structure fire is a fire involving the structural components of various residential buildings ranging from single-family detached homes and townhouses to apartments and tower blocks, or various commercial buildings ranging from offices to shopping malls. This is in contrast to "room content" fires, chimney fires, vehicle fires, wildfires or other outdoor fires.

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1 and BTW. Even if they did set this up, would it be any of your business? NO, I dont think it is, its none of our business, its theres. Now stop being a yard beater and actually go in a burning building, go home, have sex with your boyfriend, and SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT!

  • Nice repsonse guys

  • No i was good one of the best actually

  • I WAS a ff and dont tell me i know how you guys like to act I been down that road buddy

  • @Skankpronger and @ allanaws. First of all, the dispatcher at 1:50 is heard repeating the dispatch to that box for a structure, so they aren't just responding code3 for fun or as a prank. 2nd of call, not all structure fires are flames shooting out of every window and door. it really shows when ppl like u guys THINK u know everything b/c only ppl with no fire experience would make stupid comments like that. like firebuff said, we have other things to do and calls to run than make prank runs

  • Just because you don't see smoke yet in the video doesn't mean there wasn't something burning inside, just may not have broken out yet.

    Nice repsonse guys.

  • thares no fire they just do this for fun to prank the other fire fighters

  • wow if it was a members house i bet all the trucks were filled to capacity

  • Fire? What fire? Theres no fire here..

  • its one of your guys houses your gonna be moving

  • same here i also hate when they pull over the wrong way basic drivers ed 101

  • lol

  • 1 i just love it when no one like to pull over it pisses me off 2 where was the fire

  • It was a reported fire not a confirmed fire asshole.

  • STFU AKA SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • Oh... you're cool

  • well if you look above the video it says in black and white BOX 35-5 :STRUCTURE FIRE : ENGINE

  • Well if you look at the discription it says in black and white "This was a call to one of own Members house for a REPORTED Structure Fire."

Sometimes people are wrong douche bag.

  • @MFDEngine1 Thank You!!!!!

  • I know my Dept would be hauling ass like their are too one our one's

  • if you peak the Qand hold it there.. it doesn't do shit

  • That is one of the worst kind of calls

  • Only thing worse is when we we're on scene and we hear a call for our sister station to respond to a water flow indicator back at our station.

*Remember to turn off beans on stove.

  • Hahahaha I just about died laughing when I saw this.

    But yes ... so true.

  • great video! 5*

  • this video is awesome 5 stars!stay safe

  • Always a good production from LinglestownFireCo35.. soo good

  • these ppl arent even really slowing down or anything until you guys are already past them damn drivers

  • Your calling him a whacker, yet you are the one pissed off because you didn't see fire... Lets take a step back and see who the real whacker is.

  • In his defense... our job is to put out fires... yes to get there safely, but the main job is to put out fires and help the public... I think that anybody who would rather watch an engine turn a siren on and go to a call rather then watch a method of fire attack is a bigger whacker then the one wanting to actually see the fire attack.

  • Exactly my point. Your job is to put out fires, not to film yourself putting them out. And you also have to park so you can put the fire out effectively.

  • Hey Hotshot679 Just so you know if your doing stupid stuff like that and you hit a vehicle going that fast with an Engine or truck the driver and possibly officer can and will put in jail

  • Some of these cars in the video need to pay the fuck attention. When theres a fire truck behind you with lights and sirens with a Q and a air horn, you should probably move the fuck out of the way.

  • Is it possible to set a Q into automatic? I hate manual sirens and slow sirens. That's why I love automatic wail.

  • no dude. its all controlled by a foot button on the floor on the officers and/or drivers side, or a switch on the light control panel. mostly the foot button though. when you press down and send power, it winds up, when you take yer foot off, it winds down.

  • Hmm... If I were you I'd rather use wail so I can concentrate on driving. Safety is the No.1 thing. I don't want my foot to be on the pedal when I suddenly need to brake.

  • its the officer who 99 times outta 100 hits the foot pedal so the driver dont have to. some trucks do have pedals on both sides, but usually the drivers side is an airhorn.

  • thats y there is the officer an it wnt rele affect that anyway

  • how can u diss the Q? it's a staple of the fire service... admittedly there are officers who just put their foot on it and don't let off... but seriously

  • Its ridiculous when they dont let go, especially when there are no cars

  • I was working EMS the the homeowner when this call came in. Since we work in the neighboring jurisdiction we popped the call. I made the stupid mistake of letting him drive to his own house reported on fire, lol. Turned out to be a burnt capacitor in the furnace.

  • That was great!! I think my adrenaline was pumping after the first 20 seconds.

  • nice, quick response

  • nice, quick response

  • thanks for all the information

  • CoreyHM: Thanks alot for the information!

  • I love Q's!!!!

  • Hi, i'm new to firefighting and I have a stupid question: what does a box alarm mean? Is it like a code or a certain part of the neighborhood?

  • A box alarm is the standardized response to a reported fire or rescue. Usually, multiple companies are dispatched at the same time on a box alarm. The term box alarm originates from the original pull boxes located on the street in many communities.

  • well, in my county district, when it comes to a structure fire or a brush fire. when the 1st officer arrives on the scene, the 1st officer surveys if need to turned into the box alarm or no box alarm - no box alarm means a indivadul fire dept will take care of it. box alarm means more than one station as mutual aid respond.

  • INDIVADUL!

  • Did the fire turn out to be anything? I hope not.

  • if you listen after they turn on the small street near the end you hear him say nothin showin

  • just b/c theres nothin showin upon arrival doesnt mean its nothing!

  • so fuckin true a nieborr dept. in my co. had one a lil over a week ago dispatch advise smoke condition an when there engine-tanker showed up they advise heavy smoke then found a good bit of fire when we respondeded later on i realized it was a good friend of me an my familys house he said it was gun shells goin off that woke him but thats so true brother

  • If you didn't notice, there was fire police there directing the traffic.

  • Hey, they were little dinky streets with the stop signs. Around here we blow through signs and red lights if we're going to a structure fire, and we may hit 65 mph in a 35 mph zone.

  • there were people directing traffic and you dont hav to come to a complete stop to see if traffic is coming.

  • I do agree and I saw nothing wrong with the response of the engine however to all my brothers and sisters out there, we need to be more careful with pur responses. I was just involved in an ambulance accident.

  • LCO35, what city and state is Linglestown Fire Co located in?

  • Lower Paxton Township

    Harrisburg, PA

  • BATONOPS....Ok thanx. Great Q and vid! Hope to see more

  • I'm a VFF in WA. My first call, (a car on its side in the ditch) came right as I finised my EVAP course. I thought, GREAT I'll get to drive. I just finished my course, Right? Wrong. When we opend the doors there was about two-three inches of snow! Someone else drove. Then we got there and it was a car on the side of the road near the ditch. Oh well.

But I love being a fire fighter.........

  • Never forget my 1st medical run.Was my neighbor 2doors down from where i had grown up .we called her Aunt Beluah , her name was Beluh. Fell and broke her hip getting into tub and i saw her in the buff . Aunt beluh was also a pretty large woman and i remember stair chairing her down about 14 steps.Thought we were gonna break our backs. Many years ago .

  • Me and my dad were both on the same volunteer department before we moved. He was a diabetic. One morning we got toned to our own house...thats a scary feeling.

  • can i ask, WAS there a fire?

  • didnt look so

  • Never a good feeling. My father was first on scene when his father-in-law died from a heart attack. They did some good driving to get there as the story goes.

  • was it one of the guys on the truck?

  • That must have been a scary feeling getting that call.
