that doesn't prove anything-it just enhances your argument. all the candidates in this race have been vilified, because politicians smear and mudsling - what barack refers to as 'old politics.' and for the most part, he has not partaken in it. i've never seen this before in my lifetime, have you? only problem is that the media and the general public are still partaking in it. the mindset of america needs to change. so i do agree with you to a point, but most candidates in the race have faced it.

You're right, McCain's likable but I don't see it happening. R. Paul raised more money in Q4-07 than McCain & Mitt COMBINED. That's saying something. Also, have you seen how FoxNews, talk-radio & every other CPAC related group or person is trying to put daggers in McCain? His base hates him for being honest, reasonable and middle-of-the-road: anti-torture, pro campaign finance reform, & anti-corruption (Abramoff, Delay...). "Election" is a great little movie. I hadn't really made the Hillary connection until now. But it really fits.
I'm not actually sure that's a bad thing. I'm supporting Obama, but there's no question Hillary would be an awesome weapon to aim at GOP obstructionists, foreign enemies, religious kooks, or anybody else who stands in her way.
