it is very cool that mega cd shows real life movie footage in their video games. this port was more advanced than the super famicom. i love this song because it sounds like heavy metal.
Tommy Tallarico gave this game one of the best soundtracks in gaming history!

Even the Nerd commented on how awesome this OST is. Plus, playing as Kyle Reese is awesome. Solid Snake from 'Metal Gear' was based on Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese. Imagine if this game had rotoscoped animation like 'Out of This World' or 'Flashback'. The weapons need better sound effects, though. By the way, this game is HARD!!
"My mobile phone can record better quality videos than this!"
I stopped after 30 seconds as you are obviously some 13 year old using an emulator, talking on shit you know nothibg about.
Where were you when the Sega CD came out? in nappies or still in your mothers cunt no doubt.
These noobs raised on Playstation's and Xbox's don't know shit about old school gaming and should stay the fuck away from 80's and 90's console/game reviews.
@HaydnRamone Actually even during that era, magazines often criticized the Sega CD for those grainy videos. They understood the poor quality but they (nor consumers) could understand why so many FMV games were made for the Sega CD when it was the thing it pretty much failed to impress, at least before Lunar Eternal Blue was released where it looked at least, tolerable.
@AmAxel35 My qualm is with the reviewer and lack of said "review". Apart from the end result, the only input given is a weak criticism of the cut scenes between stages.
Yes the FMV driven games on this console were bad, and the fact that they were the big selling point in the (then) new medium of CD games, no doubt resulted in it's ultimate failure. Still, this game kicks serious ass, the cut scenes taken directly from the movie were impressive for it's time.
I rediscovered it because I haven't played this game in years but at 4:08 theres a fence you climb down to get even more popups, it's very easy to miss.
ok, clearly it wasn't your *very first* time playing this; since you knew exactly when to start lobbing grenades in the second stage for that big flying drone thing, hah :-)
Funny how these days a cel phone probably literally has 100 times the CPU power of the Genesis. I still miss my Genesis though. Back then I was totally enthralled with the concept of full motion video, however craptacular the compression and encoding may have been.
and ..this terminator has 10 levels _6 more than the genesis version and..are you listening the music.???guitar solos..awesome tunes _the sega cd has some of the best soundtracks ever made to a video game if you dont believe me listen batman returns music..
think about the time this game was released...we had only a few digital images on the genesis and some digital sounds
whit the sega cd we start to enjoy full motion video whit incredibles intros and extraordinary background musics_connect your sega cd to an amplifier and you will go to the next level_ a cinema in your home!!
This game never really got the accolades it deserved... I never saw a better "running" animation than the main character's animation in ANY 16-bit game!!
This was really one of the best games for the Sega-CD. Maybe even one of the best games for the Genesis/Sega-CD overall... I believe Tommy Tallarico did the music for this game as well as many other Genesis games. Yes, the FMV was REALLY grainy, but the Sega-CD was notorious for that!! If there had been more side-scrolling action games this good for the Sega-CD, it would've been much more popular!!
It's based on David Perry's megadrive engine.

It doesn't really help when you duck right? The bullets just hit your head, you are simply just too tall.

I've seen one just as good on an 8-bit game, look up "Monster in My Pocket" for NES, some of the best 8 bit graphics ever.
