This is on the album Legacy of the Blues Vol.2 by Snooks which I bought some 35 years ago.Re-released on CD but long since deleted.If you see it don't hesitate,buy it!
@salsburysteakjr Snook has been around since the 50s. Snooks did a ton of session here New Orleans, especially with James Sugarboy Crawford. He recorded his first LP in 1958 and a bit later did a bunch of recording for Imperial starting in 1961. On Imperial, he went by the name Ford Eaglin. I think all of his stuff is in print but to be honest, I've never checked. Sounds like I got me a project to do.
@drewtubeular Me too. It was like I woke up one morning and they said he had died. Took a lot of us by surprise and Jazz Fest without him still goes on but not one goes by when I think of him and how he would always be there. He was a good guy.

Nice. My favorite Snooks tune and I think it was one of his favorites too. I do miss him.
