Tyce Diorio on Tyra Banks

Even though Tyce is a fabulous talent, he loses great jobs because of his ego. In order to be a triple threat, or a just an all around great performer, you need to have humbleness and respect and well as talent and confidence. If you watch him in Every Little Step, which is the documentary of how they made A Chorus Line (revival) on Broadway, he's very egotistical and the judges even said that he lost the part due to his ego. It's very unattractive to auditors, no matter how talented you may be.

I love Tyce Diorio! He is amazing!! He should have nominated last Emmys for his breast cancer routine (performed by two dancers named Melissa and Ade on SYTYCD season 5).

He is such a fake, self-important, ego-maniac. When he critiques on SYTYCD, he just babbles on and on and on and says a lot of nothing. He's so smarmy I can't stand him and he is NOT as talented as HE thinks he is.

@thespiswolf I agree with some things you said and disagree with some. Actually I think he is not bad person and not a bad dancer. Actually he's a good dancer - just go and search some of his performances on youtube - this is very good dancing. But his way of speaking/acting/whatever just repulses me like yourself.

I think what you sense is that Tyce Diorio pretty much doesn't know who he is and his acting skills are pretty bad. He needs to get in peace with himself first, then talk to public.

@MsIndent As someone who has performed professionally almost all my life, who has also been a director, I would not hire Tyce. There's just not enough room on a stage for him AND his ego.

Not every dancer is humble by nature, you have to have a confidence to you to make it in the industry, this is true. But when appearing on a talk show. And you are acting the way he acts. There is a time and a place. And he is a douchebag.

People have to realize NOT every good dancer is humble. Everyone has different personalities and the dance industry is cut throat and competitive, sometimes arrogance can even help. Blake is arrogant. Brian Friedman. Mia Michaels too. They are all cut from the same cloth! Tyce is at least being honest and you can't deny his talent!
