@robbiewhelan In some states like Florida, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and possible a few more, but most states have both front and rear license plates.
why do americans have to mess with german engenieering and call this a JETTA? This is a GOLF (variant). Just to make it sell well since the jetta does too? Why not call the regular jetta golf derby?
in europe, this is just called the golf variant, becouse it is actually based on the normal hatchback golf, unlike the jetta. the only real similarity is that they share the same platform.
i have just bought one 2 weeks ago, used '09 tdi though with 24k miles but nevermind i am happy to be averaging 41.6mpg so far!! get this than any hybrid everyone! because the torque is excellent!
@Charles2337 this car isnt that fun indeed.. but we have other way more fun wagons in europe.. like 3 series and 5 serie wagons.. or v70's with 3.2t v6's. a ford mondeo with a 2.5t or passat 3.2's. :) its just not the way in america.. i mean u can easily go for a escalade wich is priced the same if u compare it to european prices.
its got no number plate on the front is this normal in the states ?

These European cars are just not for me. They are really good cars but they seem so boring to me.

@Charles2337: it's got great bones - and there are a ton of aftermarket options. This is not a great example of whats available.

Excellent wagon. I love it! Only I wish it had AWD available and with the diesel. Now that would be great.
