I think they should do the same thing with cigarette butts. The filtharette smoke has to pay a deposit for each ciggy.........they can recycle them and get most of it back.

Here in NY, it's illegal for anybody to bring in more than $10 worth of cans and bottles to a supermarket at a time (I've done it lots of times, have yet to be arrested). Not sure what the point of that is, unless supermarket conglomerates got such a law passed to keep the homeless from hogging the bottle return machines.

This one guy. Has a house he comes from. Wouldn't even say he is homeless. He is probably making more money going recycling, than this guy, multibillionsspent is sitting at home, making shit comments, like a shitbird, from wherever! Plus, he would spot dumped bodies, and whatnots in the garbage too. A positive thing for Law Enforcement, as I have witnessed in the past.  Man is working garbage, not asking for money. So, WTF!
