  • wow i was so intimidated of quilting but you made it look so easy with the "as you go" method love it!

  • LOVE your tutorials! we had fun visiting your shop this past weekend !

~ ok, and the CUPCAKE? Pincushion caught my eye - how cute is that? did u make it?

... also, when we were in i thought i would remember when i got home, how to make one of the quilts you showed us - it was blue - more than 9-patches - with (flying geese?) on each side - got home and completely forgot - on tutorial overload! - NOT complaining at all!

    thanks!

  • Thank you for tutorial. I am making blankets thru my local quilt store for Project Linus & had NO IDEA what to do. Thank you. I LOVE, LOVE, your tutorials. I can't wait for the next one.

  • @Zalight You are so welcome!! Glad you are here!

  • Love All Your Videos, please keep making them!!!!!!

  • Question? Wouldn't you want to go back and do some quilting in the wide spaces between the stitching lines? Also, when machine binding, I saw where you stitch it on the back and wrap to the front. That looks cool and easy. I have a few stitches on my Curvy that are straight stitches at the "bottom" and flowers or hearts above that - would those stitches work to anchor the binding from the front? PS: Thank you for the videos and I'm enjoying the class on Craftsy, too.

  • I absolutely LOVE the nativity wall hanging in the background!! Is that pattern still around?

  • @mototigg It sure is! You can find it on our website! It's made by Jan Patek! Thanks!

  • Great easy quilt video

  • I want to say thanks for the tutorial on quilting as you go method -- I just bought a pattern advertised in a quilting magazine that uses this method, so I now am better prepared to start it!

  • Jenny...would you consider a posting a tutorial on a "quilt as you go" block & sashing project? I'm new to quilting and would like to try new quilt designs on my machine with small projects. I've been watching videos on the "batting buddy" template (acrylic template for the inside and outside square) that incorporates the back of the quilt block as the sashing..a pretty simple project for a beginner.

I love all your videos and the CLEAR and CONCISE instructions you provide...THANK YOU!!!

Is there any way I can download the tutorial to RealPlayer to keep on hand? Thanks you Missourie Quilt Company for sharing. I am from Cape Town, South Africa, wish I was closer to you........

  • I am just starting to learn to quilt and I love the strip tutorial

  • Thank you for this strip quilt tutorial.

  • Wow!! Another wonderful how to video from you. I come to your site any time I need help or supplies. Thanks.

  • Fabulous - already ideas are buzzing - I could make strips of small pieces and join them in strips of same width to use as you have used strips allowing seam allowance so it would look like lines of squares - then sew lines down the piece so the piece is quilted on the back in squares = = = Thanks for a super tutorial.

  • Thank you very much for sharing such a great tutorial! :)

  • That's a hypercool, fast way to make a runner! I want to make one tomorrow!!'

  • I like this idea...I am thinking that I may be able to make squares (like the D-9 squares idea) and then make rows of different sizes made to be able to be sewn in a row as you show in your tutorial, and that would seem to take care of my concern on not knowing how to quilt!! Do you think that that would work??

  • I am new to sewing and quilting!. I LOVE THIS!!!!

  • I have only done blocks like this and still had to put them all together. With this you are done so much more quickly.

  • Loved it , thank you. I have I said lately I LOVE MISSOURI QUILT CO!!!!!

  • Wow, I'm amazed! Been watching your video's, because I'm a beginner and I've learned more from your video's than anybody else's.

I'm still looking for the other video's for your granddaughter's Snowball quilt.

  • how do you do that spiral stitch .. it appeared on the quilt on the wall 4:34

  • @abominableangel That is a machine stitch pattern called sticky buns!

  • Just a brilliant idea. Very easy to understand and I am sure it can be done for all styles of quilts. Thank you very much. Chris

  • Thank you very much...you make it look so easy to make...dare to try it out now...greetings Francien

  • wonderful project...will be doing this hopefully soon.

  • That was very easy to follow. Now I want to try it..

  • Loved this!!

  • I just made my first quilt, an "I-Spy" quilt for my son using a disappearing 9 patch and your quilt as you go method. It came together very quickly and looks great. Thanks for your tutorial.....you are a great teacher!

  • I always knew there had to be a way to do this but just couldn't figure it out (I am still new to quilting...in fact, I have only been piecing together my blocks for the top and not actually "quilted" yet into a finished quilt). Thank you so much for this video.
