A very interesting car indeed was the Beretta XD... my dad had a 1988 one with the V6 and manual and digital dash and the dash went out and the clear coat failed as it was a relatively new procedure (correct me if I'm wrong though) I think in '88. Either way my dad got a '92 base (2.2 L4) with the five speed (I think it's an Izuzu trans?) and has put 240,000 miles on the original engine with everything except the radio and engine going on the car to this point, still drives it though !
In the late 80's literally every car broken down on the side of the road was a Corsica or Beretta. The ones with a V6 had good power but the drive was weird, totally numb, and the suspension felt like driving a lazy-boy down the road at 65mph. Odd car.
the chevy beretta has to be the sweetest cars ive ever driven. i got a 95 and it handles and drives like its brand new.

The Beretta is a nice looking car. The design has held up pretty well.

Now the sports sedan part doesn't work with the corsica, but everything else does! I love a good Chevy!

the corsica was a reliable piece of junk, it didnt' die without a fight "and some fight it was" but comfortable? it's far from comfortable.
