I actually remember this being on TV!

I think this advert was inspired by a sketch on "Naked Video", in which Gregor Fisher (as the Baldy Man) went into a photo booth, and everything kept going wrong. This advert is nearly identical to the sketch (which was in the first series of "Naked Video", in 1986).

The thing I find most amazing about this is, not only is it one of the funniest ads of all time, but it was also one of the cheapest to be made. All it needed was Gregor Fisher clowning around and a curtain backdrop. Creativity is a wonderful thing!
