I dont know how anyone can think hunting with a bow is easy... There are so many factors that make up a successful hunt... Being an accurate archer is one thing being able to make a good shot on a target that can move in any direction at anytime is a totally different thing...not to mention the self control once that adrenaline starts pumping... People that never experience it will never understander... BOW HUNTING FTW!!!!!
looked like you hit her a little low, lucky she didnt go that far, wouldnt have mattered anyway since the blood trail is easy to see but anyway, most ive seen hit there run 150-300 yards lol. nice kill

nice shot and great footage!! btw dont listen to svtcontour he has not respect for how challenging bowhunting is.... and getting it on camera at that!! keep it up!!
Great Hunt Archer, don't even respond to anti's. Target shooting is fun and challenging, but you can't take a loin out of the target when you're done, dry rub it and grill it to medium rare perfection, and eat it with a nice Cabernet.. Way to provide boys, keep it up!
Great hunt man! I'm born and raised in Chester! I am in TN now and I miss Jersey deer hunting like crazy! Though I have done well here, there is nothing like winter bow! Hope to see some more!
hunting a deer with a bow and arrow has as much bragging rights as ... ummm sneaking up behind a person who's unarmed and taking them when they cant see you... oh and the person is like 5 years old.
Want to show how accurate the bow and arrow is or how good you are, well wouldnt the sport of archery be more appropriate? Just saying...a deer is not a small target nor was it moving around.
Would have been impressive if you wrestled it down with your hands or something.
@TheFieldArcher I have not but isnt it just a matter of remaining hidden and silent in an area where they may travel through or to and wait...then shoot the bow? I cant imagine that they'd outrun the bow. Well its an assumption but one would think those archery targets would need more precision especially trying to get it close to the center.
@svtcontour You are commenting on something you know nothing about. What would happen if the wind was wrong? What sense is the strongest for a deer... eye sight, smell or hearing? I waited for most of the deer to walk by, do you know why?
@TheFieldArcher Well I guess. I just assumed the actual shooting of the deer itself would be harder than a small archery target. I'm not debating the stalking of the animal. Anyway no matter.
@svtcontour i can robin hood on occasion and i hold groups of 1" at 30 yards but archery hunting for deer is still hard. shooting paper is easy drawing silently and smoothly while deer are looking around at you on the ground isn't last year i drew on a deer that had 8 others with her and i was on the ground... but archery season in most states starts in 9 days why dont you try it out so we can take your argument seriously.
@svtcontour YOu dont no anything about bow hunting.there is a very small target to hit on a deer ( smaller than a dinner plate) also the whitetails sence of sight and smell are way better than any persons. They can hear maney times better than us to so u go try and kill a deer with a bow and tell us how hard it is and why you cant get the deer within 60 yards! You people no nothing about the animal and nothing about hunting!
@svtcontour Have you ever shot a deer with a bow? It ain't easy, THAT'S a fact, ask anybody who bowhunts, not unintelligent peices of shit like you that don't know What they're talking about. Whitetails are considered to be THE hardest animal to harvest, ESPECIALLY Does and Mature bucks, not everybody will shoot a young buck but does of all ages are hunted hard, making them much more wary. I've never told a a mechanic whether or not his job is difficult, BECAUSE I DON'T FIX CARS!!!!!
might be super cold in the winter, but at least its a whole lot easier to track em! lol

@svtcontour Ever try to draw a bow late season in front of 14 deer or 28 eyes? I know by your comment that you have never hunted deer.
