If you do this with a character that is on the second playthorugh it will send your character back to the 'Fresh off the Bus' mission.. erasing all quest progress on that playthrough and traping you inside firestone.

The only way to get out of firestone then is to have another character start the second play through with you so that you can complete the First mission..

But i later got my glitched character to the trash coast entrance and cannot complete that quest with the brutal as claptrap... BullS**t

@Colliemang The best thing do to is to use modio with our save. You can get the save of your console with a flash drive and usb xtaf.

@kamloa Hell no, you get 1 skill point everytime you lvl up. You won't have much to spend, so do it wisely.

If your skill tree is maxed out do you still get skill points when leveling up?

When you do the save glitch, it doubles the skill points you already have. Just take a character and save to a flash drive right before the Salt flats on playthrough 1 and 2, And right after the destroyer on pthrough 1. You can then split screen and unstick your character and the update won't delete your backpack spaces.

This has nothing to du with Levels... To max all the skills this lvl 110 would be necessary but the cap ist lvl 50. (3 trees x 7 Skills x 5 steps - plus 5 because you start with the active skill at lvl 5) And he still has 32 skillpoints left what increases it to lvl 142.

Could be he hacked the lvl cap but you can see his lvl hat twoo digits.

So I think he used tha glitch xXhotshot55Xx wrote about or edited his savegame with an editor

Yes there is a longer stupid way to do it if your a moronic fuck (which is to follow the tutorial) or you can just mod your gamesave on your pc, which i think Trickysniper was implying. So if you were smart, you would know that you can modify your borderlands character.

If this is your second playthrough how comes at 0:04 you have a level 2 lady finge repeater? im sure that if you had played the game you would have better guns by second playthrough

Played around with it a bit, and I think I see how you did it. Tried with a dummy second character and got it to work.

Primary starts the split screen as normal, secondary chooses his character. Primary selects "start game" while the secondary selects "select character" at the same time. When the game starts, the second controller will be able to pick a character - if he chooses a different one (a new character), he will have his levels and his skills - quit out, go back in, and voila.

Downside, now that I look at it again, is that it resets your playthrough to the very beginning - Just getting off the bus.

My friend and i were playing splitscreen too and this happened but we don't know how we did it! I remember something happened so when the game loaded the character select screen was still in the middle of the screen while we were in game and then we exited out of it and his character was a level one but had tons of xp then we quit and reload and he leveled up and got a ton of skill points but the ones on his skill trees were still there

I'm going to take a guess at this.. I'm guessing that you go into splitscreen, powerlevel the lower character then have them sign out and the points transfer to you though.. Probably wrong but yeah.

it s a lvl 50 character but i've used a glitch i found to max out my skills. your only supposed to have 46 skill points i have 124 skill points lol.
