This is the BIGGEST CASE OF BULLSHIT it is the flu there are so many different strands of the flu, this is 1. 3700 people last year died of the flu in America young children and elderly ( and people with no immune system) guess what, its the same people dieing from this. Its a big joke. I personally think its a way to turn the media's eye away from airforce 1 flying low around NYC with out telling people causing the whole city to think it 9-11 all over again .

But it's NOT just a regular flu. It's a regular flu with a fever that raises your temperature to over 48 deg Celcius!! And it's killing young people. People aged between 25 and 35. NOT the normal age group affected by flu deaths. It's not something you should freak out about and barricade yourself at home over, but it's definitely something to be alert for and to be extra vigilant about methods of transmission..as in washing your hands, covering your mouth when you cough and binning used tissues

I agree, the regular flu is killing many more people. It doesn't compare with the y2k scare though, since it was due to the panic that companies were spending millions of dollars to upgrade their systems, some programmers were getting $1500/hr if they knew how to work with some really outdated systems that not many people know anymore. The reason why nothing serious happened was because all that code got tested and fixed due to the attention. I'm a programmer.
