Personally, I think that SOPA and PIPA are only digging themselves in bigger holes. Stopping Youtube and the like will only make this worse. If they stop Youtube, people will only download more music illegally. Nobody will buy CDs or other things unless they know the band is good, so they'd only be decreasing sales. And people would revolt eventually. Plus, you can't put everyone who pirates in jail. One, you'd never be able to catch them all and two, there wouldn't be enough cells to hold them.
