I got some sheet music for this song and after I got it down it still didn't sound right. I came on here looking for a piano version to see what I was doing wrong... well this is nothing like my sheet music!!! It's awesome!!! Please do the tutorial!!!!

Also, yeah, this is why I stopped using sheet music a long time ago. Often, it's much easier to figure out the song for yourself once you learn how to play songs by chords =)

Started trying to learn yours last night and well into today... I think the top hand is pretty simple got that one down... going to have to work on my chords though. You've completely got me lost on that.

k, well essentially the chords for the left hand during the phrases "Now I don't hardly know her..." are F# major and B major, and I like to play each of them in triads of I, III, and V, in ascending order.

The signature riff that starts the song and plays in between the lyrics is B, F#. and Emajor played in descending order.

Then when the lyrics come on, go back to F# major and B major.

And then the song is fairly repetitive and the melody differs in only little nuances.

Hey Mate, glad you like it =)

However, I didn't use sheet music to learn this. I just found some chords on the internet for my left hand to play around with and played the vocals with my right hand. My ipod helped me keep everything in sync.

I might do a tutorial of this eventually though. Unfortunately I won't be home/have access to a camera and my computer at the same time for another ~6 months =(
