Hi.I am so sick and tired of (SINGERS) being so cliche in movies.Just because they are singers in real life,do they have to automatically be portrayed as singers in movies as well.It makes a lot of them look,like if they can only (SING) not really (ACT).For instance (BEYONCE) most of her movies centres around singing,and to be honest,They do not highlight her acting ability,if she does indeed has any.I do love beyonce,she is sexy as hell.Will smith,and LL cool J sang well,and can act as well.

@superlukie17 No, it's not similar to Sister Act 2. Everyone was laughing throughout the movie and there were some drama associated with the comedy. I thought it was hilarious. Because of the preview I wouldn't have watched this movie without my friend pushing me to watch it. And the preview does not depict the screen play. Yes, there are a lot of singing but it also comprised of a lot of learning.

I lasted 20 minutes through this garbage pile of a movie and that was ten minutes longer than anybody else in the theatre who quickly left for anything but this... thanks Hollywood for contiuning to give us crap !!!  By the way, we are sick and tired of black and white movies and fake story lines that would never happen in real life. If dollys character had really thrown biscuits at latifah she would be on the news after being arrested for a hate crime...

If you're open minded enough to understand that sometimes you just want to see a movie that'll make you feel good, then this'll do just fine. Demographics at our showing were across the board, mid teens through seniors. Certainly more a Hallmark Hall of Fame production than what some want in serious cinema. But hey, you knew that going in, right?
