Okay, so stupid guy here, but if I were a woman and I wanted to work out I don't think I'd ever have the thought "gee, this whole workout thing would be so much better if I could only be wearing a skirt at the same time." And if you are a woman who has such a thought, this is probably a good indicator that you're not working out for the right reasons.

So yeah, most retarded idea I've heard of in a while.

In all seriousness, no, you do not typically wear underwear with running shorts of most varieties, which is one reason why you shouldn't just wear any old shorts to run.

For many reasons, such as friction burns, sweat, comfort, it's better this way.
