That actually a 335i? AFAIK ( I own a 535i N54, same engine in the 335's ) the air intake is pretty low, and it looks like the water shoul've gone in, maybe theres a drain somewhere? hm.

I drove my old one through a parking lot "puddle" that appeared to be only about 4 inches deep, but unfortunately it dips down to a storm drain in the center. The nose of my car dipped down and water came over the hood, flooding the engine. $18,900 damage. New engine, turbos, and exhaust.
