What is this monstrosity? The agents have free will and they're no longer cyborg terminators that are controlled by drugs? Fucking lame. The best part of Syndicate plus was the fact that agents were kidnapped people, turned into cybernetic monstrosities, and they were expendable. You could suicide bomb people and just make more agents.

This game does not delve into terrorism and amorality to the extent of the original, and it's a typical pump and dump FPS. Pass.

You don't need to play a game to know that it's good/bad, just read about it.

@anjikiske Well the whole point of syndicate is a faceless world where everyone is expendable [even CEO's and other powerful people if they are incompetent] and the planet is being fought over between nefarious corporations, when you start adding personalities and witty characters to the game, it no longer becomes Syndicate, it becomes generic shooter #45572.

I remember reading the manual of the first Syndicate, and the agent managers were given cyanide pills to take if they failed..

@anjikiske I highly doubt they are going to incorporate such amoral characteristics in this reboot, which is why it's going to suck. The first games emphasized terrorism, brainwashing, torture etc, but I doubt they are going to go that far because of political correctness, and they want to maximize sales with a lower rating.

I've played games which were critically eviscerated and loved them because the opinions of others is an idiotic thing to base your opinion on.

And you do have to get shot or do herion to know how they feel, which is a much better compairison here. We're not discussing how playing games makes your hands sweat.

man people are allowed to not want this game and to want it but it does a miss a large chunk of syndicate, I personally need some more convincing some things are off, things in particular are

1.played evil exec in control of mind raped agents whom have no personality.

2.You could persuade huge masses of people to fight for you

3. Tactics and fairly unlinear gameplay.

4.No stupid mentors or agents with personalities.

5. You could colour code your syndicate.

6.Lighting was a dark polluted world.

@NetDevilVZLA There's a lot more to this FPS than shooting, its at least as complicated as Deus Ex: HR. There are skill trees, the ability to use different abilities to manipulate enemies and objective based missions.

Though I don't like that it has turned into an FPS. People are forgetting that all the strategy in Syndicate was ruined by the "Activate panic mode, win" gameplay.

The FPS remake would be interesting if you had control of the syndicate like the original game and determined it's direction by allocating money to research etc but they are not going that route. Generic story driven FPS for the lose.
