  • Can't believe Steve got stick for performing a few songs to a willing audience. I love Crass but it actually wasn't a particularly 'authentic' band. It was just the art project of a bunch of posh hippies and Steve was the real authentic punk voice. While posh hippies always seem to land on their feet, working class people actually need to earn money someplace, especially now that the authorities have reduced the ability for people to live alternative lives underground.

  • @mostmusicisbad Mixing "a bunch of posh hippies" with the working class was the best way of saying "fuck you" to social class division. They all had (roughly) the same ideas, so I don't see what place their background has in any of this.

  • those idiots who moan on about, oooohh he shouldnt do it, what the fuck right have they got to slag a man off, whos done more for punk etc than most could dream of doing. pios wankers .good luck to the man. and yes i did see crass in 1981. but a lot havent heard the music in a live situation.

  • Happy about seeing the interview. Sad that I may never see the songs performed.

  • @spayspay Steve Ignorant is bringing the "Last Supper" tour to the US and Canada this April and May. Check the dates.
