  • I will get Nvidia 460 GTX graphics card

I wll can run it on ultra high

  • Fallout New Vegas has got better graphics. Come hatin' on me.

  • Right, To all who use Anti-Aliasing, Turn it off. It's retarded and pointless unless you are booting 2 GPUS or 1 fucking insane GPU like the ATI 7970. I myself use the 6970 and it works like a dream! :3

  • my notebook aready is a crap,

i can run Skyrim, but with 10fps in 400x300

    :Q

  • @rohverKS 10 FPS in 400x300?

    is your notebook a N64?

  • What is FXAA from the Options menu?

  • I need to know how can i improve my view distace because i have low graphics but i want to improve my view distance

  • Why am i laggy at low

but 50+ fps at ultra? weird :|

  • @StarwarsGeneral Who cares if you can run it on ultra with 50 fps? :S

  • @Jappeke007

nuu, i ment its just weird, the graphic is so laggy at low but pretty smooth at ultra...

  • 25-30 fps is enough for me, the movement just looks way too fast and unnatural in 60fps imo.

  • currently i have both set to 4. and again, i know this isn't going to make the BIGGEST impact. but that's not what i'm going for. every little bit helps my gaming experiance, and helps my pc's lifeline.

so if i could set either or down a notch without much of a notice lemme know. i'd just like to avoid instantanious swords on the ground, or rocks i'm walking up to, as least as possible. if possible.

  • If nobody minds my nooblyness... what is the difference between object fade and item fade?

not that these are the biggest deal in the world. but my pc isn't the greatest. and i was running fine before mods, but when i discovered a Buster Sword off Final Fantasy, mod... it had to be added to my game. so i was wondering the difference between the two... and whats the best setting to have them at that would make the least notice. also which one affects performance more/less.

  • Medium looks good enough

  • Windows 7 64-bit

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU@3.4GHz

    AMD Radeon HD 6750 1gb

    8gb RAM

What settings will I be able to run for Skyrim?

  • @90CRA I think that you could run it with ultra high settings.... :)

  • @90CRA I'd say you can run it max.

  • @90CRA only very very low, maybe you need some perfomance boost mods! *irony off*

  • will it run on ASUSTek Computer Inc Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B950 @ 2.10GHz. 4.00 GB 64 bit OS?

  • LOW GRAPHICS vs High Graphics

    Low beginning cutscene 20:00 Minutes

    High Graphics: 2:00 Mins

    HIGH PEOPLE WIN!!!

  • IS low settings a Xbox 360 graphics they just do stuff like AA and all that for better stuff?

  • Operation system: Windows 7 64-bit

    Prosessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU, 2,30 GHz

    AMD Radeon HD 6630M 1GB

    RAM: 4GB

Would this run Skyrim on low/medium settings?

  • @JollyMidnight Medium settings for sure. Mine is worse and it can handle medium.

  • @JollyMidnight Definitely no problem

  • @JollyMidnight

medium to high or at least medium-high settings

  • wow, gotta love how youtube makes everything look like shit. game plays great on my 550 Ti :3

  • Skyrim is the game, which is also looks awesome at low settings.

  • @ForsakenZOL I thought the same of Fallout 3 when it came out... Betheseda never lets us down...

  • Operation system: Windows 7 enterprise 32-bit

    Prosessor: Intel(R) core(TM)2 quad CPU, 2.40 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT(1777MB) Graphics card..

    4GB of RAM

    with DirectX 11...

Would this run Skyrim good, no lag... smooth gameplay and on what settings would it run god on?

    any help would be awesome!

  • @Ruger9mm1 i got the same specs i can run mine at high but go with the medium in shadows trust me

  • 5:50 for the best part of the video.

  • @QuinnNguyen I don't know how to change graphics... i looked everywhere but i can't find it... yes, i'm noob :)

  • I have a small problem here. Whenever I move my camera down, the character and the rest of the world turns to black, not really black, but it becomes more darker and it's so annoying. What settings should I change please ?

  • @MrMoozic update your graphics driver

  • how to i change settings to low?

  • I have an Amd Lnnao 3850 and Radeon HD 6670, what settings do you suggest? Any tips for smoother performance?

  • @hanseykemmerer skyrimnexus is the place you need to go to for mods to improve performance or improve visuals at the cost of performance. As for what settings its just preference, I prefer 60 frames but the consoles run at 30 so you can download the frame rate cap from that site and cap it at 30 so it feels smooth like the consoles.

  • @hanseykemmerer i have a geforce 2 any dirt grains you can suggest XD... anyways *sigh* i want skyrim so fuckin bad

  • Hey, I got an Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphic card I a still can't play this game fluently even on low settings.

  • @sighisoaraa this game is more cpu limited. Your gpu doesnt even matter all that much

  • @a1rh3add I've fixed the problem.

  • @sighisoaraa what was it?

  • @a1rh3add When I launched the game, it didn't swap to the proper video card, since I have two: an Intel HD and an Nvidia. Now when I launch, the game uses the Nvidia graphic card, which is much better then the Intel HD Graphics...

  • can i runit on high or medium with all the required stuff exept for the graphic card witch is an gts 250 1gb?

  • @The109926 You should be able to play on High maybe even Ultra...I have a "AMD Radeon 6490m 1gb DDR5" and I can play on Ultra (I might turn shadows down to medium for extra FPS). My settings is 2xAA, 8xAF, FXAA enabled, all reflections on and all sliders right NO LAG. I can play EVERY game that has came out recent maxed ,Crysis 2(with no AA though). Battlefeild 3, etc..Starcraft 2 is only game give problems.Skyrim optimization is amazing unlike what everyone else is stating GTA 4

  • guys i can't see dragons fire breathe or any type of element the breathe i'm on lowest settings. what should i turn on ? so that i can see dragons fire breathe and stuff

  • @chaoshart ok nvm i know what to turn on now. Antialiasing i think in my own understanding its an FX :)

  • on what settings do u thinnk i am able to run the game.

    Specs:

    Acer aspire

    i3 proccessor

    Nvidia Geforce GT 520m Graphics

    6 GB DDR3 Memory...

    Somebody plzz answer .

  • @TheHasani1994 i think u can run the game just fine just put it on low settings if u want less lag or if there isnt. try to experiment. mine lags in medium graphics already LOL since put it on low graphics i can't tell where the dragons shoot -.- so i'd have to figure out where the fire not fun at all if u can't see dragons breathe fire

  • @chaoshart Hoped i could run it higher :(

    But thanks for answering.

  • @TheHasani1994 You should be able to play medium or High, maybe even Ultra, but take it easy on the AA and AF and resolution. Even though some sites say "low" for your card, that just reference at what setting they have it on which is maxed HIgh res, High AA, and maxed AF. e.g: instead of playing @1920x1080, try 1280x720. Actually Skyrim is beautiful on low so if you have to dont feel left out you wont tell the difference. Skyrim is hella optimized..for everyone

  • @Amunnakht Glad to hear it :) Thanks alot for the help ;)

  • can u give details of what Specularity fade means? the fades... umm. what else.. the Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering. so i can better understand pls :D thanks

  • @chaoshart Specularity fade is how quick the "shine" on things like armor, windows, show up Antialiasing: is a method to remove a jagged line from a texture. For example pull out your blade look along the blade's edge if you see things look like stairs AA removes that to make it straight, including building etc..

  • @Amunnakht thanks bro! so how do i fix this? i'm on low settings like all low. but i can't see the dragon's fire breathing or whatever element he's firing and i can't see my flames too same with frostbite how i'm using PC.

  • @chaoshart Try turning on radical and decal quality up...although Im not 100% sure as to if thats the fix for your problem as I do know radical handles the effects of blur from getting hit and splatters on screen and decal handles the blood on sword and on ground other effects when uses magic. As I say again Im not 100 but give it a try hope you get if fix Skyrim fun..Try updating you video card too..Skyrim DOES have bugs due to it being a port, and a patch is on the way

  • @chaoshart Anisotropic Filtering: is where textures are detail at a distance, like the ground right in front of you is high detailed but further down the road its blurry, with Anisotropic Filtering it make the road high in detail from a distance.

  • what's better for improving performance: setting the quality to low, or reducing the other settings like draw distance? I only want to go as low as I need to reduce pauses from the game, I don't want to reduce everything to low. So which will help more?

  • @fowad27 the draw distance is not much of a FPS killer like other games, The most important factors are turn off all AA, AF to 8x and shadows to medium and lower you resolution. If you lag after that , then its just time for a new Computer my friend. Also dont be ashame if you have to play on low, like I told other guy evenon low Skyrim is beautiful

  • @Amunnakht I have a pretty good graphics card (sapphire AMD 5650) but not the best processor, so I get some long loading times and pauses during gameplay if I play on high. I want to know if I can make the game run smoother without sacrificing the good graphics. I think if I keep the game on high but reduce AA, AF and shadows like you suggested, I might get the desired results.

  • @fowad27 Yes......but the sliders in the advance section deal more with CPU; like actor fade, grass fade, give them a try first before disabling AA and AF.

  • @Amunnakht kk, will do. And thank you.

  • @fowad27 just like you said, Lower shadowing and what not... HIGHER the stuff you want, but you got to lower the other stuff you dont... Mix Match thing

  • so much for the ultra quality..bethesda impressed with the graphics of each tes game now it fall back

  • what does light fade do?

  • Hello, How do I set the game to low quality? i have semi-lag with high quality because of my video card and somehow i dont find how to put to low settings in the in-game menu ?? please help

  • @vezezu When you first open the game it should pop up with a setup menu, go to settings and it will allow you to adjust everything.

  • @cookiehead2 thanks alot :)

  • guys i play the game on low and i cant see npcs that are close in a tower for example do u know anything to fix this?

  • @kostas574 My guess is to up your Anisotropic Filtering.

  • @QuinnNguyen anisotropic filtering is for the image i am talking about seeing(loading) npcs that are long and be able to see them cause i usually see them only when they are in close

  • @kostas574 You're talking about "Actor Fade". Increase that to make the NPCs load farther away.

  • @cookiehead2 thank you very very much really appreciate it really worked :)

  • @QuinnNguyen No offense, but please don't give out advice or uneducated guesses.

AF is the quality of a image from different angles... He has his NPC distance at a minimum, that's whats wrong, he needs to raise it higher to view NPC's from a further distance.

Once again, no offense just please look into that. Good video.

  • @QuinnNguyen

    Omg of course not!

  • @QuinnNguyen Anisotropic Filtering? Fuck no, that doesn't have anything to do with it...

  • @kostas574

change actor fade in adv options

  • @kostas574 Turn up your NPC view distance, AF nor AA has nothing to do with this, they are just image filtering devices, to increase the quality of a Image.

  • @kostas574 Turn up your actor fade in gameplay settings. Oh and make sure you have 360 Controller turned off.

  • @ItsDitch Wow I can't believe I missed that 360 controller option this entire time, thumbs up for you good man.

  • @QuinnNguyen Haha yeah I got a fair amount of lag when I first ported it onto my mac, so I went through fine-tuning every possible option :)

  • @ItsDitch why the controller too?

  • @kostas574 It just adds extra lag and it keeps the option on even if you have not controller plugged, in so when you turn it off instead of the controls being set for xbox and pc its only pc.

  • @kostas574 do all fades low like 1-4 exept the actor put that on 7-10 you will see npc's from far away

  • Skyrim has amazeing performance for a port.

Just look at the difference between GTA 4 port and this ....

GTA 4 is unplayable on High for me ( unless I kill shadows ), Skyrim flows in great FPS on Ultra + manual higher settings.

  • @AtlasRedux I agree, GTA 4's performance was a joke.

  • btw you know increasing the fade makes it look worse right?

that means the further away you get, the more it disappears

for instance if you have grass fade set to 10, if you're looking at some grass and walks 5 steps back it will be gone, if its set to 1 or 0 it will always be drawn

  • what is specularity fade?

and why is your distant object detail always low?

  • @ryancouture I'm using the game's presets so that means I just click on the button that says Low, Medium, High, Ultra and all of them have distant object detail set to Low. Specularity is how shiny things are in the game and as for what you said about the fade settings, it's the other way around. The higher the number the more you see down the road.

  • @QuinnNguyen yeah thanks i learned that since

sort of doesnt make sense though, you UP the fade and things fade LESS?

so having the grass fade set at 7 will show me more grass than at 5 right

  • @ryancouture Yeah the higher the number the more you see, I don't understand it either lol.
