  • Very nice, thanks for the info; I'm sure my worms will love you... :)

  • Thank you so much!

  • Great Video, I got a lot my info on Worms, and Vermicomposting over at HomesteadearthDOTcom, Chris did a great write up on Vermicomposting. Then Googled my fingers off. (that's how i go here)

  • I've had problems with hot gluing the plastic tubs when moisture is introduced, the glue wouldn't hold a well. It wasn't from worm bin, but when I was raising crickets for my bearded dragons, but anyway.... A tip for you if you run into this problem.... Sand the bin a little to rough it up and the glue sticks much better to the plastic. Or even gorilla glue on a sanded bin works as well too.

And on topic, lol... Putting together my first worm bin this weekend, love, love your set up!!

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't had too much trouble, but I try to manage the moisture in my bins so I don't have too much excess. I'm not one to try to get a lot of leachate (what most people call tea) off the bin. More important to keep the moisture level ideal for the worms than to get a lot of leachate.
