Girl get that Turbo and do your own hair. I would not trust ANYONE but MYSELF to do my hair!!!! You can do it. Keep those strands on your head. A rat tail comb??? Oh, hell no
Hello, do you mind sharing your hair care journey, what length did you begin at and what things were you doing from the beginning to promote your growth?
can this be an alternative to getting a relaxer? because i only get relaxers because of my very very curly roots... and this technique is to straighten the roots correct? please message/comment back!! thnks!! :D
Possibly. I've gone to the salon with a ton of new growth and walked out with straightened roots with just the use of a blow dryer. I've also seen naturals have their hair straightened with the dryer and the technique. The key is to master the technique so you don't cause more damage. A dryer that hot can do your hair more harm than good if we're not careful.
yes u need a quality dryer w/concentrator, heat protector, and round brush, but TECHNIQUE^3 makes the diff, u should seek a prof stylist who can meet ur needs, dom salons are not the only ones who do blow outs BUT u will pay more elsewhere, the process is not a secret to a prof, but be willing to pay for quality the way u want it, otherwise good luck my sista
When you buy your new dryer make sure you get one of the blow dryer root attachments that directs heat on the roots. If you blow out your roots only you do less damage, get the same swing, end up with a fluffier fuller final look. If you don't like it as full you can wrap it and do a saran wrap treatment. I like mine full its the purpose of the roller set prior to the blow out for me. No matter what blow outs of the full length of the hair will eventual take its toll on your ends. Good Luck!

Yes, get a Turbo. That's what I use and that's what is used in the salon I used to go to.
