The crappy VMA performance may have a expliantion like her shoe broke (I doubt thats the only reason it sucked, the bad lip-syncing comes to mind) but I don't really care, I'm with Chris Crocker, leave her alone... not because she's a good person or all the rest of that crap but because she's really not worth the energy! She abused her talent. If she was more focused & direct w/ what needed to be done & not abused her stardom, she would have had an entirely different outcome. She'll never rule the top as she did as a youngster. A strict & serious manner is what needs to help her focus on reality of who she is. Not what she was. She was lucky that she had the chance of being a star but, it can only take u so far if it's abused.

when women cant walk or balance in heels the foot makes the shoe go into that akward angle. hence the heel miraculously slipping back into place by the end of the performance. the heel was not broken.

So. She should be able to dance when the heel breaks. Or take off the shoe in a cool and manipulate the dance. Anyone can do that. Or in teh first place, don't wear 4 inch heels when you are going to be dancing. Falts are in style or maybe some converse and appropriate clothing because she obviously doesn't have the body for this anymore right? the whole thing is screwed up really.
