Russian equipment proved many times to be overall better on battlefield than anything else! Apache is probably better machine but bear in mind that ka-50 can be repaired with chisel and hammer if needed! Apache is not as versatile as this.
Russia cant pay for its ships, or its planes, they have only have a few bombers that are anywhere near the equivalent of anything the us has and nowhere near the numbers. Some of their ships are wartime era! Alot of their planes are from the early seventies. The breakup of the union and the cold war left them severely damaged. Its sad really Communist russia had a certain allure to it :).
US a national debt almost 13 billion dollars. It is amusing to listen to statements of Americans about ability of Russia to buy something:)

but in AA combat the KA-50 should have the advantage.. in complex AG combat and overall the 2 seater Apache has it.
Tought to be honest the KA-50 is more armoured , faster ans agiler.. the Apache is quite agile (not as the KA50 but more than enought) , 2 crew and good avionics/sensors

there is only 1 problem, this can be really better than apache, but US can pay to have a few of them..
