Levein makes very valid points. That's why Rangers have never really been any success in Europe as they're used to decisions going their way in this country. Celtic get decisions to a lesser extent but refs tend to hate Celtic. I knew David Syme's son 15 years ago and even he admitted that Syme was a renowned orangeman and very much a ref who handed games to Rangers. Things have changed slightly since then due to high scrutiny but the SFA establishment is very much a closed shop.

Levein's right. IMHO whole country was gripped by the run-in every football fan was interested. At a conscious level the mood was that this was between Celtic & Rangers, therefore all the other teams didn't matter. In this match it was paramount Rangers won. Because of this Rangers fans are blinkered. But it had spread beyond Rangers fans to become a bigger issue & Dun U were unimportant. That's what I think.
The alternative is that the Randy Rev Ref McCurry corruptly influenced the match.

Celtic have had to put up with it for decades, but last season was the worst i can remember for referees blatantly cheating.....it was only after Rangers went 11 pts clear in the league that they started 'being seen to be fair' in games....Dundee Utd being the exception, of course.

It's not even me talking as a Celtic fan, raging Rangers got all those decisions in their favour on Saturday. It goes both ways, we have had the lucky breaks from the refs recently to, most notably THAT goal of Aberdeen's that never was. The refereeing standard in Scotland is a shambles, things have to be looked at badly. It just seems to me these refs are easily intimidated by the Old Firm fans whether it's the Green or Blue side.
