it's my dream to become a professional shuttler. i play country level but im still young and i was only playin badminton 2 years and all the other girls was playin all their life

but im catching up on them ;) i wish badminton would get more attention its the best sport EVER !!!!!!!!!

I noticed that Peter Gade had a chance at getting all medals, gold if he managed to beat ji xinpeng since he destroyed Ji Xinpeng in the 2nd set, and if he did win, he could of beaten hendrawan and if he lost, still get silver. But i think he lost his confidence and spirit after losing to Ji, and lost to Xia Xuanze in the bronze medal match

Feel sorry for Peter. He definately deserves at least a bronze medal if not more. If you think about it, he always loses to the champion player than wins gold before even getting into the final. Unlucky I guess, I hope he gets a better chance next time.

ya.. it's really too bad about peter's luck at the olympics. 3 olympics and all 3 times he bowed out to the guy who ended up winning the tournament. it's too bad he lost that bronze medal match too though.

also,  i can't believe he's never won a world championship.

i think he just might be the greatest badminton player of all time, but HE never realized it and as such he's always been so humble, and that's what's holds him back from closing out so many games that stay close until the end

Poor Gade, always so close but has never got a medal..

He has lost to eventual winners of olympics 2000, 2004 AND 2008. So close.

I hope he is set to qualify for 2012 in London. Wish him the best.

he's quite unlucky that he didn't even get a badminton medal..he lost to ji xinpeng,taufik hidayat and lin dan in the 2000,2004,2008 olympics respectively and all 3 of dem became eventual olympics champions..it's so sad for peter gade
