  • Thank you very much @ jhnb12876 for put in welcome of his great and marvelous channel this wonderful video ! I love the music from the movie Conan The Barbare !!!

    Just the number one !

    CONGRATULATIONS

  • Cheesy Marto rat tail tang stainless steel garbage. Period. Dont waste your money. Marto charges 500 bux for a piece of rattleing crap that ist worth 50

  • They said you'd come...From the North, a man in a white polo.

  • Is that Hebrew on that sword phonecian cannanite.

  • I love the conan movies too bad no one is thinking of making a new one, there is one coming but conan is played there by a litle girl,so no to that-hard thing to do...filling arnold's shoes-Great sword, great music thanks for shearing!!!!!

  • @ivanovsd If only Arnold Schwarzenegger were to train again like Sly Stallone did for his Expendables franchise and make another Conan sequel I would see it in a heat beat. He's not Governor for California anymore and he said he's back to acting. Why not. He's still has bodybuilding/nutrition knowledge to get back into shape. Age is a fucking number.

  • @RPintorO lol sly did not train he eat human growth hormones. lol

  • Guten Tag!

those swords are rad, and you my friend are rad for owning them. i love the conan movies, they are fucking great!

  • time to slay some giant gorilla or something...

  • A babe magnet ;)

  • How I dread the day when all films take place in front of a blue screen.

  • ARE YOU AN ALBINO?

  • That is Conan's Father Sword

  • Made in China

  • xDDDDD

  • LOL only a sissy would call himself firelord.

  • @firelord3377 they are replica from the conan movies, and iam german too :D - no need to troll, they are not practical, of course not, they are just nice to look at - and make only sense if you know and like the conan movies.

  • @firelord3377 You make me sick, you come to this video for whatever reasons led you here, most likely an interest in the sword itself. Then you bash the guy who took it out of his own money and time to share a hobby with you, specifically stating that is merely a replica and you have the nerve to chalk him up to being a stereotypical 'lil american'. People around the world have been collecting and building weapons like this for centuries. The only unrealistic thing here is you.

  • @firelord3377 dude shut up Quality steel was not used in medieval times anyways( so immagine farther away in time) if you could go back in time with a modern High qualitym, Carbon steel sword, you could break everyone else's sword with your own ...

  • @firelord3377 Unrealistic for a puny little man in a business suit to wield yes. But for a real man, more weight = more damage upon impact. You can carry around a fencing sword if you wish.

  • @edstar83 lol, you know that they dont make any damage at all, Mr barbarian? - Cause they would brake by the first hard hit, they are stainless steel which is only for display purpose. Btw i bet you are just as puny and little like me.

  • @hardnor Albion. Cut your car in half.

  • Guess - where one can buy the "original replica" of the weapon? (I mean the workshop that made the one wielded by Schwarzenegger)

  • @scumimpaler i thought about that too, long time ago - but i guess he did not so well ^^ - anyways, i know there are "original" replica in the US, made from the same molds as the movie props. But 3000$ for one piece ist too much, to just hang at the wall and look at it

  • @hardnor There are rumors that there were few blades that were sent to USA from Poland and then polished, decorated etc. I couldn't believe that and investigated - and eventually I found a smithy that actually makes small amounts of weaponry for film industry. The boss claims he prefabricated the blades. He even has the replica of THE SWORD in his price list (10.000PLN). But - frankly speaking - I don't know how to verify if he's not lying. Filmmakers hire him often actually, but THIS..?

  • @hardnor Then buy it and USE IT my barbarian friend hahaha :D

  • best movie soundtrack ever

  • Those look like original germanic rune words inprinted on it? if they are then the sword is original.

  • dude, expect a burglar, couse i want those. and i'll go through them to get them.

  • Nice sword.

  • Huh, it's strange how Toledo's blades are still famous for their quality. They were already famous some 500 years ago among the spanish conquerors. There is a chronicle in which a comparison is made between the Aztec obsidian swords and these blades saying: "They cut just like Toledo's blades".

  • "What gods do you pray to?"

  • in spain , in toledo its making the best replicas at the world, lets go jajajaaja

  • theres someone who makes a functional replica of the Conan swords but I think there like 3000 U.S.D but there fully accurate and functional....

  • MAN, where the fuck did you get that weapon ??, that is sooo cool !

  • Let this theme bellow forth from yon speakers as you achieve glory and honor for your iD family!

  • iD Tech in the hizzouse!

  • so which sword is better between his father's sword and the one he got later?

  • Both are similar, but I think the Atlantean one has the edge.

  • I bought the conan atlantean sword after seeing this video ! it is awesome ! if youre watching this... you shoulda bought the darn sword already ! this thing is the real deal ! again awesome video, and thanks for sharin !

  • The first sword (with the dog skull) says "Suffer no evil yee who wield this in the name of Crom" on the blade.

  • Dog skull? O_o Its an elk skull...

  • @LiveWisely It actually says "suffer no guilt", not evil.

    But well done

  • That was his father's sword made with the Steel's recipe I guess.

  • now don't cut yourself shaving

  • i now what it says it says suffer no guilt ye who wield this in the name of cram

  • Awesome!!! :)))

  • awesome ! i have not been this excited about a movie prop since the f-x lightsabers. which is more powerful the steel ? or the hand that wields it ? in this case its the steel. awesome video and nice razor sharp toy !

  • Its not razor sharp, the movie blades havent been sharpened at all.

  • Boo Yah!! Ready to swing a sword and raid an orgy now!

  • @TheCanadianDude most epic comment ever

  • Piss poor Stygian iron is shit compared to this Cimmerian Steel!

  • Those are nice swords; but you need to get up there and swing one like Arnold did on the beach as he was recovering from the attack of the demons. lol

  • yeah good comparison

  • Holy Cow you got both replicas.... how much did you pay them?

  • ~300eur each

  • 1:51 is this a wallpaper?!?!!?!?

    1680x1050 i WANT IT!!!!

    please pm me!

  • cimmerian's steel

  • ...made in china lol

  • Made in Toledo (Spain) with warranty certificate.

  • value ive heard over 350 for the really good ones! and more. care to elaborate? thx

  • that sword locks good but the runes not so

  • This is one of the best movie themes around its so epic. The video was kinda boring at start like how long did it take to show of the 2 swords lol.

Personally tho i always thought his dads sword was better than the one he finds.

  • Comment removed

  • Classic dis be, da best shit ever...

  • A sound worthy of carrying the name of a god!

  • This you can trust.

But can you wield it boy.

  • " Blessed thee who wield this in the name of Crom"

  • "Suffer no guilt he who wields this in the name of crom" Not trying to start no bullshit. just a simpal currection.

  • Good

  • Where can I get that and the atlantean sword ? Please advise

  • There is separated those the sword offering. Those is however very expensively .Look on Google " Conan the Barbarian"-Sword,articles...Good luck..

  • Beautiful Sword!

  • Nice shirt.

  • R.I.P. Jody Samson. You truly knew the secret of steel.

  • Designed by Ron Cobb.

  • THAT is what i call a sword. Can i have one. Please.

  • Now go slay a monster! quickly!

  • It appears to be painted, not truly acid-etched.

  • Thats actually The Father sword not the Atlantean that Conan uses in the film

  • both - i have, and i show both in the movie/pictures :-)

  • sweet.

  • nice

  • i like the weapon but the clip is boring

  • lol should i kill someone? - i just wanted to show the artwork of the swords in detail - not shooting an action video.

  • Then cut up something! Or is it the replica from marto?

  • Well are not you the popular one . Ha Ha Hah! The sword is too short. You and I love it - But the truth is still worth hiding ha ha ha! My vocalisation is getting better...

  • a few thousand years from now, men will boldly declare with your same conviction: "White people? They never existed! Has anyone ever seen one!?"

And so it goes, until the next Satya yuga.

  • Wtf are you saying?

  • He's saying about the declining birth rate of the white race and the fact that they may be outbred by other races and result in extinction.

  • yeah, its been over a year since i commented on this, i tottaly agree 100% with him now, i guess you can say ive opened my eyes

  • Shut the fuck up u fagget, no1 wants to hear ur racist bullshit here, go jerk off as many times as needed to reproduce urself asexually cause that's the only way you'll reproduce at all.

  • WTF?

So as a black man it's ok to for the black race to be superior in numbers to the white race is it?

Don't be such a fcking racist and go shag some entity's that you love so much douche :)

  • You are the only douchebag around here u idiot, u only see what u want to see. You hear this song and u think it talks about race cause ur so obsessed with race. When actually it's called "The Anvil of Crom" because it deals with the forging of man's willpower and strength. Go talk racism with ur kkk buddies, no1 wants to hear ur bullshit here.

  • I have my eyes open and I am completely impartial to the racial divide you seek to exploit.

It's a fact that the white race is being outbred.

How is it racist to point out facts?!

A racist is someone who either hates other races (not me) OR hates THEIR OWN RACE.

You I would guess are white and more than likely have some hatred of your own race. Hence you are a fcking racist entity man.

    Douche off :D

  • How the hell could you tell what's my skin color? only a racist douche tries to deduce skin color based on text messages.

If you're so concerned of the extinction of whites then go create ur own only whites country preferably in the north pole.

This is the way US demographics are changing and thus the way it's supposed to be and you can't do anything about it so shut up, it's nature taking it's course.

  • @LovecraftianEntity01 Don't forget the worst part about racism - it unnecessarily narrows the scope of your rapine. Do you think Conan would have ever refused to satisfy a nubile maiden simply because she was too pale or swarthy? This is a man who put his meat into witches from time to time - pickiness was not a hindrance for the man.

If you ask me, WatchRyder does not know what he is missing.

  • @DrCruel hell yeah! That way we all get to be cimmerians!

  • Damn straight. Especially at the pub.

  • @WatchRyder That's the advantage of being a Cimmerian. When you raid the lands of the city dwellers, you need not listen to their inane prattle - merely slay their effeminate menfolk, steal their goods, and despoil their women. And if the bastards you sire have black skin and curly hair, all the better - when they come of age and seek vengeance, they will not be able to recognize you as their father.

  • "This I know - that I know nothing. Plato (Ancient Greek Philosopher He was the world's most influential philosopher. 428 BC-348 BC)

    Go read:

Forbidden Archeology: The Full Unabridged Edition by Michael A. Cremo and Richard L. Thompson (Hardcover - Jan 1998)

    or,

    tell yourself you know everything.

    :)

    quack quack, quack!

  • HA! I read that 2 weeks ago! Thats just one of the "books". Wish people read that kind of material to open up their minds ... just a notch

  • the Vikings used 1 handed swords that weighed from 13.36kg-22.72kg, and the 2h swords were heavier. Buliwyf's Ringding was over 23kg.

    today's men grow weaker.

  • I'm sorry, but wherever you got your "facts" from there, is complete bullshit.

For a start, to actually have those weights, a steel blade of a sword's length and width would have to be about 5 inches thick. Steel or iron is not that dense.

Actual viking swords average 1.3 to 1.4 kilogrammes, Germanic long-swords, about 1.6-1.8kilos, and the landschnect zweihanders go up to 2.5kilos.

(I'm a reenactor, I regularly handle originals, and fight with modern copies)

  • thx 4 ur uneducated opinion.

my facts from the Ibn Fadlan manuscript, originating from 922A.D.

Archeologists and scientists have no problems accepting information in this manuscript about the location and size of forts, military outposts, etc. But it is when it comes to the size of the Viking's and their weapons that scientists refuse to accept.

Guan Yu of the 3 kingdoms used a polearm that was 18kg, he was 6'10".

In India there are swords handed down that require 7 men to carry.

  • scientists claim we are improving by the day in everyway. in the manuscript was depicted another race, but scientists say not possible. they used to say the earth is flat.

the bible records numerous people who lived over 1k yrs of age, and the Vedas convirms and gives much greater detail. In the book "forbidden archeology" are a host of relics found, including I recall a 15' long by 4' wide iron bed.

We are not progressing, we're degrading, and losing all opulences, life, height, str, int.

  • If you insist. a 15 foot long bed, my reaction is'nt "oh, we're degrading in height", but "oh wow, that would be fun for a harem or luxury pad".

I will not argue points of faith, however, as that is a personal matter for you. I believe that the bible is one of the oldest records of civilisation - babylonian, sumerian and judaic - but that it is also layered in allegory and myth. You clearly feel this is absolute truth, and that is a matter of personal faith. I wish I could have such belief.

  • I agree to a point. However, as for "forbidden archeology" there were many artifacts unearthed that suggested many strange things. Yet we have never found a giant skeleton. Humans are getting weaker, smaller, fatter and living shorter lives. Nutritional, environmental, genetic factors are to blame, which boils down to the fact that people are being further disconnected from nature.

  • As a matter of fact, giant skeletons were quite common, but often dismissed by the status quo. Currently there is a dig in England where during the Dark Ages, there was a well-established village of giant warriors, average height 6'10". Giants were often the result of population bottlenecks, meaning that genes for giantism are among the most common for our species.

  • My facts come from the actual physical samples in the British Museum, the Wallace Collection theScottish National Museum, the Kelvin Grove Museum, the Dean Castle Collection, and others.

I am also using the references of Ewart Oakeshott's "records of the medieval sword" - considered the world's primary source for the study of swords.

We refuse to accept the claims, because, much like the forts, we have archaeological evidence of the hundreds of actual weapons that have survived.

  • there's plenty of records of oversized swords - infact, there is a 20-kilo "two handed" sword in the collection of the National Museum of Scotland. it's about 12 feet high, a hilt 2 feet long, it's blade is 4 inches accross.

it's a ceremonial sword. carried at the front of a parade for the public to see. These oversized weapons are not for actual fighting.

if you want, message me, and I'll arrange a set of links to photos, and book titles, if you'd like to read about it.

  • History is a set of lies agreed upon.Napoleon Bonaparte.

    Later quoted also by Voltaire.

As I understand it, a view shared by many others, those swords were not ceremonial or for parade, they were used, by very big men.

Modern society claims advancement, but they cannot produce or even re-construct a minature 25' pyramid.

I've seen with my own eyes a 70 yr old man hoist motionless in air 900kg with legs, like a leg bench press, he is Mongolian 10 yr wrestling champ.

  • and the bible, after being changed thousands of times, is hardly among the oldest records available to man.

The Vedas are millions of years old, and the Sri Lankan bridge and it's construction is recorded in the Ramayana from 17 million yrs ago. NASA has satellite images, acknowledges it's age, and concedes it is "made by intelligent life" but refuses to accept it was made by man.

As a student of "agreed upon lies" you may also know Vikings worked steel long before the Egyptians.

    ;)

  • .... I'm lost for words. Come back when you have a grip on reality, please.

In the meantime, I strongly suggest that the facts you've got are compiled and published in archaeological and specialist journals for reenactors and historians alike. *If* you are right, you will be a very rich person as you have managed to uncover history unknown to man, beast or duck.

But, personally, I know you'll be laughed off as a quack.

  • its a nice weapon, is it heavy than the katana

  • of course - the father's sword is 3,5kg and the atlantean is 4,5kg - no weapons at all, just trophy :D

  • arni will ^^

  • Awsome! Tell me the story about the sword!

  • the fathers sword....

  • haha thats funny, philerupper, thats gonna make that dude into a fucker:) hahahah lol

  • Wow dude... This sword's gonna definitely get you laid. }:^}

  • "And he trampled the jeweled thrones of the earth under his feet."

-Fitting Blades for the King Of Aquillonia.

  • Crom!!!!!

  • ssshhhhiiittttt!!!!!!!!! owesome!!!!!! man this is cool...

  • awsome video

  • We are in 2008. No one carries a sword in the street , so who cares if it is stainless steel or not ?

Swords can kill people , I love swords , but dont try to attack a guy with a an AK 47 with a saber.

  • hehe yeah and if it's stainless steel, you can accidently kill yourself :-D - search on youtube for katana qvc :D

    cheers

  • i got this sword tattooed on my back last week, from hair line to belt like, down my spine. if i knew how to post it up here i'd show uz.

  • wow sounds cool, maybe you can mail me so i upload it on 2dhifi

  • crom!!!!

  • The sword is non functional as a combat weapon. I know a few things about sword making having studied it and that is clearly a stainless steel showpiece and not a tempered, hand forged steel blade meant for metal to metal combat.

  • yeah - and who exactly said that this is a combat weapon?

  • Nobody. I was just merely making a comment on the video. The swords are nice looking show pieces.

  • :-) yes that's what they are, unbalanced way too heavy fantasy pieces made from stainless steel. But i like them, love the movie, love the images i ve made with (look on 2dhifi . com for sword).

  • Oh the movie is one of my favorites of all time.

I really like the attention to detail in the handles of your swords. Putting the fathers sword in the snow was a NICE touch too. Keep postiing cool vids man. Thanks!

  • Coolness boss nice sharp thing peace,or I guess pieces if your gonna use that thing.

  • great video hardor.Awesome

  • They did it with Beowulf.

  • My holy shit! Where did u get that sword????

  • Anyone heard anything about Conan 3? I have heard it is a done deal, once Arny gets out of office that is.

  • heard that long time ago, if they wait another 4-5 years they can easily replace arny with cgi, even today would that be possible

  • Deffinately...would be kinda hard to have him do it personally from a box in the ground :D. Awesome movies though and cool sword.

  • conans gonna kill you for taking that, long live CROM!

  • The music gives me chills at :55 and makes me want to play AoC so much more!

  • The sword of Conan and his father are magnificent swords, that a Knight nor a king wouldn't shame of wielding.

  • I use that to open my letters

  • Make sure you keep that top button buttoned kiddo. Wouldn't want you to ever get a date or anything

  • kiddo? lol i ve girlfriend you cant even dream of, no need for dates anymore, pa :D

  • LOL Of course! Look at that girlfriend! Wow! Such beautiful craftsmanship XD

heheh... just kidding. But really, great replica! Beautiful sword.

  • What's she look like? Do you let her play with your sword? >)

  • If you were to really quench that blade in the snow like William Smith did in the movie, it would break like glass when you struck something with it. Great swords though. I wanted one of the Albion Atlanteans but I guess I just took it for granted that they were going to make them forever. My loss.

  • A two butifulle peice's of art in sword making would love to have the real one's

  • GEEK!

  • wat a NERD LOL

  • This is so gay... love it ;)

  • where can i get one of those?

  • You are a lucky guy

  • Enough with this ignorance, the sword better than Conan Father is the Albion, true sword battle ready, the marto is only for exposure.......

  • lol this was never in question - guys the conan swords are fantasy, much too heavy for there length, very unbracticable und unbalanced, i have a practical katana and i know how to handle it - i found the marto conan swords just nice to have, cause iam a big fan of the movies

  • yes, but belive in me the Albion sword is very diffrent, is a true sword to battle!!! this tradmark is famous for this, the weight, the equilibrium of the sword, the material, if you have possibility to find the Albion Conan sword not to make you to escape it!!!!! is totally different!

  • Albion.. their next generation Swords are the best european battle sword products on the market but i´m sceptical with "true swords of battle". Also a practical katana doesnt have to mean, thats its a authentical sword which would survive the first contact with another sword.. it can also mean that you can cut some things more or less effective. Problem with Albion is imho that they look too perfect and are more industrial made then really forged like japanese do (very expensive.. 10k + more)

  • A skilled swordsman could best you with the cheapest of swords. 10k or $100 You'd loose your life to someone skilled. I'm not saying I'd risk my life w/ a cheapo, but were talking display swords here...not like anyones risking their arse. Even if the sword broke, a skilled swordsman would expect that of a cheap weapon and be prepared. In life or death situations, money doesn't always dictate a winner. The one who wants to live more; has the strongest skill and will -usually wins.

  • You are correct dark. Skills supersede the person with a better sword in most cases in a one on one battle.

However in warfare when large armies or navys fight, in most cases the side that has the better technology usually wins. But it is usually correltated with better skills too.

  • Agreed. I usually like to correlate it to musicians. Give a crapy cheap guitar to someone who is skilled and they could still rock your socks off, but give a very expensive guitar to an unskilled player and they can't make a tune.

  • The principle applies very well bro.

  • yeah im not sure if that sword is a functional, or is just a display piece. functional swords at least good 1s, cost at least 150 but most good ones cost 350 and up. even non functional blades will cost 100 to 300. all of the licensed lord of the rings swords are display pieces, they will not take the stress of cutting. and some of them cost 250 to 350 depending on where u get them.

  • I agree fully with you, that not the weapon makes the fighter, especially in hand to hand or close combat, the experience of this fighter and his physics is the most important part but on the other way i dont know what a skilled fighter should do or how he should be prepared for it, when his weapon breaks. Skill might be important but an effective weapon often makes the difference between life and death. I just would want to be shure, that my weapon is REALLY battle ready.

  • And practical katanas are perfectly balanced weapons of mayhem? :D

  • Too bad the Marto swords suck. The Filmswords version are much better and made by the guy who made them in the 1st flick, Jody Samson. Except you can't get them. Oh well.

  • i like them :-) maybe not 100% the same quality, but 90% - and just 10% of the price ^^ - any ways, what i hate most on them is the fact, that they are stainless steel :-/

  • I havent seen the filmversion swords on close captioned pictures.. and i never really cared to just watch the sword in the film but imho, these versions here lack of authenticity. The skull, the symbol of the pommel, the signs at the blade look to perfect (made out of metal i guess) to look believeable. The broadsword of an barbarian would have rough leather as grip, and probably not such fency artworks on it.. but in the movie, they looked cool somehow.

  • Not a true warrior amongst you.

  • Its good to know that the eld legends are still being learned by some of the youth...

  • Too bad the loser in this video wouldn't know the riddle of steel from a horse's ass.

  • Unfortunately the way he holds the swords to present them is really kind of "star wars kid" like

  • Unlike the products of the Japan market, modeling & sculpture of sword is perfect!

    I need Atlantean sword.
