Omg.. 1300w?? What do you need that for? I am using almost the same stuff as you, with 620w, and i have cheched how much of the 620w it uses.. It uses 360w of 620w Corsair. So wtf do you need 1300w ?!????? waste.

The only reason that 1300w PSU was put in was because it was on sale with the Vid card I paid 100 bucks for it on NE. So yes over kill but you probably would have done the same thing. Thanks for the Comment

the e6750 is an amazing chip to oc... ive got mine to 3.8 running smoothly with just fans

I just thought that I would stop by and let you know that Core 2 Duo Is more than enough to play any game that you can throw at it. The only Game that supports the Use of Quad is Crysis and sorry to say but this system runs on VERY HIGH with 40+ FPS Why waste the money on a processor that is not being used? Not one person has given me a reasonable argument in trying to convince me into purchasing a Useless Quad. Don't believe me. Look it up Ignorance is BliSs

core 2 quad is having a AI program and PhysX programming for the extra 2 cores that core 2 duo doent have, so your gameplay will be faster and smoother that opposed to a core 2 duo's performace with a core 2 quad

not a bad build.. but if i was to build that id get quad as it runs better if your just gonna use it for crysis

or you can get a E4500 where stock is 2.2 but you can clock it to 3.3 (last time i check it can go up to 3.6?) using a V1 heatsink temp ranges from 20C -> 50C max .. (my max was around 45 so yea)

atm, core 2 duo is more than enough to play games, and probably the best choice for gamers these days.

Even if Core 2 quad is getting cheaper, the q9300 has less L2 Cache (/2) than say a E8200

and is less clocked out of the box.

Overclockers won't worry about the frequency, but the L2 cache could be important in some games. Eventually it has 4 cores instead of 2.. but who cares ? even Crysis or Supreme Commander barely uses 2 cores :)

Ignore the quadcore fan boys, a faster clocked dual core will out perform a slower clocked quad of the same price in nearly every game out there. Why have more cores than you can use? Space heater?

3x1gb it says it in the movie. I want 4 but xb pro 32bit only suports 3gb. I was going to get 64bit but I found a good deal on the 32 so I got that one instead

Another person who falls prey to 3gb limit with windows xp. First off, xp will use more than 3gb, the problem is that no single application can address more than 2gb of ram. If you have an application that needs more than 2gb then you need 64 bit. Otherwise ignore what XP is reporting, it will use 4gb+ if you have enough apps running. Drop in 4gb, turn off virtual memory, open every program you have and as many IE windows as possible, then go to task manager and add up the memory in use.

Quad Core is over rated. I have put that Processor in 2 computers now and it can handel just as much as todays quads. "UNLESS" you get the Extreme. Which I am not about to Fork out 1000 on a processor. That and todays gaming "which the computer was built for" does not even suport the quad. So its usless to put one in. Also the great thing is. I can always upgrade as things progress. Thanks for your comment!!

The Tsunami Dream might have problems fitting a 9800GX2. Unless you don't but the HDD cage in.

you are correct. I had to take off the rubber bumpers off the card and arrange the HDD's around the card. It will not be possible to SLI it in that case!!! Which is a bummer
