i have a 05 Tahoe stock with the 5.3 and its a beast!

part of the reason they're so beastly is because the driveshaft is what, 4 feet long? haha

:-), yeah if I turn off traction control the lightwill come on. I don't think that a full tank would really do much to it though. It wouldn't be heavier that just adding another passenger, which there are all ready two people

I'd start with breathing mods first. Intake, exhaust, headers, things like that. Free up restrictions. Then if you go with a procharger it will be just that much more effective. By that point you may need to invest in some tires to get traction.

What about strain on the tranny? How will this affect it's longevity, first with the basic breathing mods, then with the procharger.
