  • Oh! That was a joy to watch. Beautiful girls.

  • My girl is all about the hunt. Goes crazy when the gun comes out!

  • I am hungarian but live in scotland now and when I lived in hungary I had vizslas too... I think Scotland it just such a perfect place for these dogs ... I wish I still have mine here with me!

    Best dogs in the world!

  • They work in pair these two...

  • Born to hunt...

  • U love vizslas! They are sooo sweeeeet!

  • love this video

  • Our Vizsla does the same thing whenever he sees a pidgeon in the garden or a gull at the beach. Nobody taught him, he just knows. In slow motion one foot at a time he sneaks up on the bird, then very slowly turns his head around to us as if he wanted to say "now i've found it, are you going to shoot it or what?!"

  • The best dog in the hole world

  • Target eliminated!

  • mpre file poso pouleis ta kouloukia?

  • poor birdy ..

  • Where do you even start on training a dog to act that sharp. I want a vizsla but I wouldn't know where to start. Amazing clip

  • gorgeous points, really awesome, we used to have English Pointer and English Setters too, but I love the Vizsla the best, <3

  • Great dogs ! (but the apport should be a bit better ;))

  • @pim1234

What is the "apport" do you mean I am rubbish? I AM. I admit it - these vizslas are SO much more talented than me ;-))

  • @2redgirls No ;) I meant the bringing back the bird to you ... the dog went off with it LOL

  • @pim1234 No - she DID bring it back to me - then there was a wee (edited out bit) where the bird died - then yes indeed Mz Bert carried her trophy away. All heresy I know ;-)) but I love her happy tail :-))

  • That is a really great video. Shows how amazingly sharp and on the ball these dogs can be.

  • good video most of them are really shake but not yours

  • cool videos of these beautiful girls!

  • amazing! got a pheasant, very good soup can be cooked from it.... :)

  • Great dogs! I wish my Vizsla could point like that. He knows "go right" and "go left" but the dog has no restraint!

  • That was awesome!! We have a 3 year old (Cody). Hopefully he is that good one day.

  • Amazing 2 girls! I wish my lady vizsla would give such presents some day..

    Well done

  • I bet if you took your "lady vizsla" (love this description) somewhere with *birds* that she would show you what her instincts have made her capable of. I am rubbish as a trainer/handler. My vizslas are awesome - though we are VERY lucky to live in rural Scotland - wild pheasants and snipe every day. And deer/rabbits/hares too. Shhhh - the redgirls CHASED a hare today - again - but they came back when I BLASTED the whistle. LOTS of praise. Good redgirls. Sometimes. Good luck with the training! X

  • Great video, they are a beautiful animal especially when they are enjoying themselves hunting. I just got my first Vizalas he is a ball of energy. I hope to train him well.

  • smart dogs but not controled shame :(

  • Too cool!! Beautiful dogs.. Love to watch them work..

  • when you first got your viszla did you have to train it to hunt?

  • hi speether - i have had this breed for 20 years - it knows MUCH more than I do! I am rubbish but give a vizsla a hunting/birdie environment and - well - watch them do the job they were bred for! I guess many not so lucky as us? Every day on our doorstep - pheasants/ deer/ rabbits /hare etc etc. As redgirls' owner - with all of those rampant instincts - well nightmare "control" issues - lean mean hunting machines that they are! Would not have it any other way though! thanks for your interest!

  • Hi 2redgirls,

I have never actually been around a vizsla, but I love their big gray cousins. I saw a vizsla on TV, and I fell in love with them. I am looking into getting one of these beautiful dogs in the near future. I'll probably be ready for the commitment after the holidays, and any and all advice from you would be nice. I am mainly looking for a good family/hunting dog. Most dogs I know can only be one or the other. It seems vizslas can do both! I LOVE EM!

  • Hi 390galaxie

Yes that is what is so special about the vizsla - in the right hands - the most loving and affectionate and loyal companion and yet still with amazing inherited working ability. You need a sense of humour though cos they can be a bit ahemm - whimsical. When it comes to finding a breeder DO YOUR RESEARCH - look for one that produces nice vizslas and is ALSO responsible about health and temperament issues.

You are right - this lovely breed deserves commitment. Good luck. Di

  • If there is anything more beautiful than vizslas on point, I don't know what it is. Thirty days until our pheasant season opens. Can't wait.

  • shame there wasnt a flush on command nor a retrieve to hand with the pheasant they look like they could be great working dogs :-( but still i like to see them point like that

  • Go---- go on------ go.. you two go.....

lol, thanks for the up load there just brilliant to watch... looks like she's off home to the cooker for you aswell eh...

not long now i'll have my own...
