Motherboard = Intel Q45/Q43 sucks because it has a built in Graphics card called Intel GMA 4500 and i cant play any new games. So i wonder which Graphics card you guys recommend.
I have this video card, and it's actually pretty shit. You can't really run the newer games very well (Saints Row: The Third, GTA IV, Battlefield 3, MW3, etc). Even on the lowest screen resolution, you'll still get a few drops in FPS.
@14BSP oh, well i got a new channel /mrgamerz2018 dont know if u wanna come look but. also got a new pc (laptop game) with a GTX 560 1.5GB DDR5 so yeah this is good :P
I have a 32" and an 23" monitor the 32 can do 720 and the 23 at 1080 and I wanna run them both at 720 and everything else on high on mw3 and bf3 which card should I get
Can you tell me more about the pci powered aspect of the card? How does it affect the cards performance vs connecting to the power supply and how it may affect the overall system performance. It draws power from the mobo so will it stifle my CPU overclocking abilities etc? Might pair it with an APU with minor overclock but might use it Alone with an Fx 4100 where I would really like to bump up CPU speed. Thanks.
Hrm a low end Flex edition card is nice for someone who isn't gaming and needs 3 monitors. Those active DP adapters are stupid expensive so 3 monitors right off one card stock is nice.
@CookiesAndGaming Lol look it up dude, no need to explain myself. Quick examples, take the 8800GT and the 9800GT. Literally the same crap! I know its Nvidia but still...
@mcwiggles1213 nothin that will suit the current build will be $80. Nvidia's gts 440 runs about $80, although I have seen as low as $60 on sale. It will be more than plenty for MC, but for Crysis 2, you will need some more beef than an $80 card. My 440 runs nice and cool, works great for 1080 video rendering, and Full HD gaming on older games or reduced settings
Hey nice video, would it be possible to do the same with a i5-2500k on a Gigabyte UD3P-B3 (does not have any type of visual port like HDMi on the board) with an EVGA Gt 430 in SLI or something? Please anyone answer to my comment, would be much appreciated :)
PcWizKid, This video Literally couldn't come at a more perfect time as i am building a budget gaming computer and i was conflicted over buying a similar Gigabyte Radeon HD6450 card to play basically only Cod mw3 or if the mobo I'm going to buy had a good enough Graphics card
Hey PcWiz I rather have a two slot heatsink that an undersized one with a loud fan or no fan and short term overheat issues especially in low profile cases...
Nice review, would have liked to see more games benchmarked in crossfire ;)
@Microcip83 yes , for certain use/cases a larger heatsink is best, your right. The reason I didnt do more games benchmarks, because for Crysis 2 and Lost Planet 2, I only got 15 fps, so its not really for 3d high settings gaming.
@Microcip83 Agreed! My experience with low profile graphic cards is not good. They tend to have a short life span. They conisistently fail between 6-8 months.
@nintendowiids12 yeh what is with that 2 slots thing? they must be aiming for smaller desktops. not many sales from people who buy DELL small desktops, not really upgraders are they. and not many sales from people like me who dont have 2 slots or the space to spare in a Media centre PC. ill just have to keep looking for a 2nd hand low prof. edition 5670 on ebay. ive done some research and that card seems to be the best performance low prof. card around
@bazzo1992 your a real jackass buddy. if the cards are being released today you cant expect every reviewer to have a review for them. wizkid doesn't have to suck enthusiast dicks
@moasto02 yeh your right, mid range, low end performance/price reviews are good to. plus the big shift in more people getting Media centre PCs. ive got a Gmaing PC and a media centre. got rid of my cable/Sky TV package and just watch all my stuff off the internet, i dont even watch normal TV anymore. and stick a half decent GFX card in there and i can flip to a games session that looks better than consoles
@moasto02 Who said anything about sucking enthusiast dicks? You implied because they came out today that's why there was no review of the 7970, I was simply pointing out there was.

@Gamerz2018 No, get something with alot more power such as a HD6950. This is not for gaming, especially not for BF3.

Attention all who play battlefield 3. This card can run bf3 at low-medium settings. I recommend no anti aliasing for better performance.

@Lintu1995 gta 4 is a port that relies on cpu power, and doesn't really use the graphics card so it doesn't show how good a video card is.

Perhaps you can help me. My friend is looking for a gpu for under $80. His current setup is as follows. (Sorry, i dont know the MB.)
12gb DDR3 RAM
AMD Phenom II X3 445 (?)
Single screen 720p
current gpu is ATI Radeon hd 4650 (1gb GDDR2 RAM.)
The case is not an issue - it is a monstrous one. cooling is also not an issue -- its like a refrigerator.
He uses it mostly for hd video playback, HEAVY minecraft (for long periods of time) and the occasional marathon of Crysis 2 on high.
Any suggestions?
