@DBZDALKIA Idk, I use a (fairly large) laptop to take notes, & it's getting kind of cumbersome. I would suggest you look into tablets, & remember, windows 8 is slated to be released into the market in October, so there could be some really good Windows tablets coming out around then. Something to look into perhaps.

i think the ultimate tab would be if sony made a "psp/tablet", being just a normal tablet with all the normal tablet features and if they want a few more special features, but then also with the option to open up the back and put in a disc and play psp games, or to download them from ps store, in my eyes that would be awesome(and i know that sony does have a tablet with the ability to play psp games or something similar but i was imagining something with maybe even buttons on the side aswell)

Actually I would say "wait for windows 8"... Android/ipads are designed for entertainment, not for serious hard work. If you are in college, like me, you need an fully capability productivity software, like MS Office; you must have usb ports so you can share your files and maybe use some hardware; the tablet has to keep running during all day (battery); and it has to have HDMI/VGA connectivity so you can make presentations.

Netbooks are cheaper and still portable. and they sure do all I've said

I am in my 4th semester and I can say that the transition over to a tablet is not as easy as you would expect. So possibly stay with a laptop, but if a tablet is what you want then I have to honestly say and hate all you want but iPad is the way to go. Why iPad? Because of the jailbreak. It has got me so many useful tweaks that make doing homework a breeze. Many features that no tablet straight out of the box will give you such as uploading files and downloading files.
