I think those helmets do more harm than good.  I've seen ppl get concussions from getting hit while wearing them.

@Notagayusername10 Your nuts; you go full contact in three situation: 1) the cage, with MMA gloves 2) sparring with MMA gloves and a faceshield 3) with boxing gloves. Doing otherwise just gets you injured so you can't train.

@Notagayusername10 That's nice. I have fighters in the cage too. If you really fought (which I doubt--shin guards in the cage?) you would know that you can't train full contact with MMA gloves daily. Your face gets all cut up constantly, and your nose would be a bloody mess.

@templarbb1 Ok they have MMA gloves designed for sparring during fight camp we are in their everyday to prepare for upcoming fights doing what we call "the sharktank" 1 person contantly fighting fresh people. And we wear shinguards for headkicks. This is sparring full contact in the cage and no you dont get cut if the gloves have thick padding think padded gloves cut.

This is sparring, not competition. If he wasn't wearing headgear and I wasn't wearing thick shins that dude's face would've been split wide open. At the end when he got me down, he hit me hard enough to make me go partially deaf in one ear for 2 weeks.

You and the other tough guy can free to post your own sparring videos and show us how it's done (not holding my breath on that one), but since I actually have brain cells to protect, I'll stick with headgear when I go hard, k thanks.
