What are you talking about? Several coaches and fans from other schools will agree that he's a class act. But don't take their word for it, do a little research yourself. I'm guessing you'll find things like how well he was able to clean up after Sherrill, and how he was there for all aggies after the bonfire collapse in 99. This is also the same man that said, "I wouldn't trade winning another game or two for my reputation as a person." Clearly he values class, but keep talkin anyway...

Nah, I read it on aggieathletics. Not sure if I got it exactly right, but you get the point. I've already looked around. I was living in Austin when he was coaching at A&M, and even our biggest rival had respect for him.

but lets look at other facts: since Leach has been at TTU
he has the highest FB grad rate of any school in the Big 12.......
the arrest rate of athlete students at A&M is FAR greater that that of Tech........it really isn't even close........and that includes RC & Fran.........that should tell you something......
however, you can continue to deny the facts.......

I'll try to explain this to you one more time. Over the years, tech fans, players, and coaches have had several classless moments. e.g. Goalpost shoving, running onto the field, throwing objects on the field, running up the score, throwing balls at the corps marching in, ect. A&M has had a few moments like this, but overall we are considered a friendy campus. So when tech does something that may be classless it gets magnified, whereas schools like A&M are given the benefit of the doubt. Get it?

I don't have as big of an issue with the touchdown than I do with tech fans that post crap about how A&M is just as classless because we scored a touchdown against y'all in 86. What else can I say? Tech played a great game, but sheesh, can y'all atleast act like you've been good before?

1986 is not the only time the aggys have been guilty of running it up.......just read the posts at the top of this thread for evidence......try to clue up.....
and the classless moments you describe are only complained of by aggots......and your team/school seem to have incidences like this with almost every other school....the common denominator: Texas A&M

aggies need to quit complaining. if you want people to care about hurting your feelings, go back to little league baseball, where "everyone's a winner." this is college football - DONT CRY ABOUT IT. is it right for a coach to make a back and o-line work their butts off for 5 minutes, then not get to finish it off? in the words of Mike Leach, "if you don't like what the other guy's doin, STOP IT."

you're an idiot. you guys lost to arkansas state, one of the worst D1 teams in the nation. considering leach doesn't get near the recruitment that A&M does i'd say he's done a DAMN good job. YOUR coach is the most overrated coach in the big 12. and WHO even cares about non conference? they're all supposed to be weak. i guess ours looks weak because we killed them all unlike A&M

I am a die hard Aggie and I was at the game.
Going for it when it's first and goal on the 1/2 yard line with 0:24 seconds left in the game when you're up by 11 points? I don't know if that's "classless." If you can defend a head coach SPRINTING 30 yards to the nearest referee to challenge the "no TD" call on the play right before that one, you are just plain in denial.
At least you guys didn't try to ram a goalpost through the Zone.

When you have a shot at a BCS, you do what you got to do to make the score as high as possible. Even my cousin, who is an Aggie understood Leach's actions. Any ranked team who has a chance to go all the way would do the same thing.
With that said, I give kudos to both teams. Ags put up one hell of a fight and good job on supporting ur team win or loss. Thank you Aggie fans for a great time in CS and look forward to the next meet.
