No, she's actually talking about the book To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus is a character in the book. It takes place in the 1920s I believe. A white man sues a black man named Tom Robinson of raping his daughter. (This white family lives like literal trash by the way) Atticus is the the lawyer who defends Tom Robinson. well answering gogo's question, i think she has all these emotions like "falling in the waste" and her heart "to misbehave" all represent how she loves/ loved someone. but now she has been through all these emotions and is controlled and stable yet full of love and compassion which embodies Atticus in the novel.
