A 22 is not more dangerous than a 45. That said, its small size and low KE payload doesnt make it any less lethal. A broadhead arrow is probably as likely or more likely to cause a lethal injury to a person or animal than a full sized rifle round. A 22 can pass right through you, so yes it can prove lethal.

That said it doesnt have stopping power like larger rounds do. It can deliver a lethal injury but its unlikely that it can kill something outright.

@de0509 sure it COULD get deflected, but it does have enough power to penetrate, just not exit the skull. So what you have instead is a bullet bouncing around inside, which if I remember from my anatomy class is bad.

@Therealguymins I did look it up. Scilencers are higher quality surpressors for pistol rounds only because they are sub sonic. Surpressors are for practically any gun, but reduce less noise. Note: Rifles ususally use super sonic ammuniton, which it always makes a sonic boom, which is why silencers for rifles are called surpressors in the modern age because nobody will say that the CRACK made by a supersonic bullet is silent.
