I thought she was very good in 2008. But now that I watch this video again in 2009, I can see how much she has improved from 2008. Her spirals are faster (still slow, though), spins are also faster now, steps..well, they've been alwyas excellent, jumps are stronger (lutz problem is still there..but even so!) She has improved so..much. But i like 2008 programs better than the 2009 ones.
her 3-3 is very soft, elegant, and beautiful. i really love this step seq. , it is just awesome. i love this music,too. i really hope she will win gold on world and olympic.

This is Tatiana's choreograph. This is her first colaboration with Tatiana and worked so well. That year her LP was choreographed by Lori. This year her SP is Lori's work and I love it very much, too.

yes she did win, but her performance was really uninspired. First w/ a huge fall, just walk on the ice, flutzing, cheated jumps, slow and unsteady spirals and spins. I think people will question mark why this performance is the world champion performance, and they will 'boo' is for years.

Mao FALL FLAT ON THE ICE AND STOPPED PERFORMING 20 SECONDS IN her LP but she got the highest PCS score? Not even funny.
Besides Mao's messed up jumps ( two-foot landing, pre-rotation, under-rotation, wrong edge and etc) were not downgraded enough.
All experts did not agree Mao's winning the title.
