@Nativeaboriginal You do not have to be able to "hit the good notes" as you put it to be a fantastic singer. A grate alto or base is just as wounderful as a grate soprano or tenor. Have you ever heard the expression "no one loves an alto"? It comes from the opera and Musical world were the villains always has darker voices than the good guys. for example Beauty and the Beast, the Beast is a tenor and Gaston is a base :)
