THE OFFICERS MUST BE DISCIPLINED. Otherwise all of the videos of police brutality against peaceful protesters put online this week, this month, will all be in vain. I have just written to the UC Berkeley Chancellor, urging him to take serious, immediate, appropriate action against the many (numbered on helmets) officers who acted illegally, violently, and perversely in these videos. Please do the same! WRITE TO THE CHANCELLOR AND DEMAND DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST OFFICERS WHO ACTED ILLEGALLY

I wouldn't say they were completely unprovoked. The kids were trying to trap them in. Still, the police used this as an excuse to use force far in excess of what was needed. Disgusting. I hope those bastards pay.
