i see the video, but the lyrics make it sound like she broke up with him, not she died. well, to me, at least. maybe im wrong, but the second verse makes it sound like a break up song.

It has nothing to do with not being able to love a person back and make a relationship work. It has to do with losing her in an accident and no matter how much he loves her and always will, his love can't bring her back. This song is amazing. <3
Saw him in concert and he wasn't that impressive. His voice was cracking at least once a song. His opening act, Logan Mize, did a better job and he only played acoustic with his base player.
Easton Corbin is amazing...I saw him in concert 3 times last year and he was incredible everytime. It didn't hurt that the last time I was right in the front row at Toby Keith's Bar (where he performed) and I he was 3 feet from me. He also signed something for me and handed me his guitar pick. :) It was by far the best night of my life! Oh and he smiled at me too :) :)

I don't usually comment, but seriously this has nothing to do with a love walking out the door. It's about the women dying and he's saying he can't love her back to life. Even the video clearly shows that - starts out with a semi hitting her car and then shows it rewinding back to where she kisses him goodbye (notice she's happy!) then walking out the door (which leads to her death.) -- Very sad song.

she had misjudged a curve and t boned into a large truck. both girls were killed instantly.

I don't usually comment, but seriously this has nothing to do with a love walking out the door. It's about the women dying and he's saying he can't love her back to life. Even the video clearly shows that - starts out with a semi hitting her car and then shows it rewinding back to where she kisses him goodbye (notice she's happy!) then walking out the door (which leads to her death.) -- Very sad song.

this actually happened to a young guy who was engaged who i worked with. he was just texting his fiance as usual. she was going to the movies with his 18 year old sister. he was heading to work. they were 3 cars apart. and suddenly she stopped texting and he pulled up onto the accident scene and saw her car crushed.
she had misjudged a curve and t boned into a large truck. both girls were killed instantly.
