Am I the only one who thinks this song works much better when a man sing it? Somehow I believe the words sound more truthful -not that a girl can't carry grudges, I mean that kind of regret is much more common in men.
The musical interlude that begins at 1:40 and continues right up until 2:50 creates an ascending landscape that one can easily get swept into. it's those amazing horns! Okay, Diane is great too, but having this Claus Ogerman arrangement of Jobim's classic tune certainly helps.
@rr7firefly Hi, I also think it's a great arrangement, but are you sure this is Ogerman's? If this is the version from the album "From This Moment On", I'm almost certain it's not.
@sinkorswaim You are absolutely right about John Clayton. The orchestrated arrangement does sound like it could have been Ogerman, but you are correct.
the guitar drums and piano sounds goood

Diana ,you are turning into one hell of an artist.I would not compare you as others might do.Keep working at it. You will a little get more husky .

Plena sintonia de voz e acordes perfeitos de Diana e a música marcante de Tom Jobim e Vinícius de Moraes
