this is great! ever since i heard Gary i have bleed emerald green.it feels like one of my own has been taken.the kicker is he was playing better than ever and maybe would have came back to the states.i don't get it,Keith Richards is still around and has sucked on guitar for years.Keith had cheated death many times and Gary didn't a second chance.that's fucked up!
I love this video. Thank you very mutch for making it. Amazing how mutch awesome music one man can do in a short lifetime. RIP Gary Moore my hero. Im allways gonna love you
If Phil Lynott had lived longer a more pure blues album with him on vocals and Gary Moore as the main writer (and guitarist offcourse) could been a true classic album. Not to put down Phil Lynott in anyway.. He was and still is one of my favorite musicians of all time but Gary Moore was a bluesman while Phil Lynott was THE ROCKER :)
I will definitely try to recommend this video to others. Gary Moore has really done ALOT of good stuff. He is mostly famous for his time in Thin Lizzy and the later Blues-years.. but listening to this he did great stuff all along. Truly one of the most underrated guitarists of all time!
You put alot of time into this video and we cant thank you enough. I just wish he was more recognized in America but then the Legend as we know him might be watered down a bit. Lets all treasure his work and let those who wish to find it reap the rewards as it was meant to be this way.
@r246c I think it's the intro that's Johnny boy. I'm sorry, i meant the outro; the last piece of music in the video, the blues that starts after after the celtic rock and when the newspaper clips of his death appear. do you know what that one is called? where did you find it? It's a really great blues and i'd love to know, thanks again. x
@lewistempleman Oh, I'm sorry. I made a mistake with 55 seconds. The song name is "Livin' With The Blues". It is outtake of the album"Back To The Blues(2001)". Best regards,
@Claptonblues55 The name of the album is "Sound Minds(V.A.)". This CD has been produced to aid Wicklow Mental Health Association. Limited only 10000 copies.
Such a long and varied career. He really could play the blues, make it sing and burn without ever sounding like some studied technique bore. He had style. Nice singer also and a good writer. RIP.
@odenchan18 最後の曲は「One Day」のアドリブによるエンディングソロです。「Ballads and Blues」のDVDに収録されています。ちなみに新聞のバックで流れている曲でしたらアルバム「Back To The Blues」のアウトテイク「Livin' With The Blues」です。
Fucking Brilliant, could watch this over and over. Thanks
