I stopped watching these blasted soaps years before this scene with Jake & Megan. But somehow my antennae went up from behind my ears and I was instantly transported to the Living Room TV where it automatically shut itself on exactly the point in time where Megan dies in Jake's arms. I still cry when I see this scene.
I know that when this episode originally aired there was a song a the very end/credits of this episode but it is not shown here. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Its not Megan's Dream" by Suzanne Ciani. If anyone knows what I'm talking bout please send word. Thanks
The song was played at the end of the episode *following* this one, as Jake takes down the hearts from the wedding tree... it was Judy Collins's rendition of "The Moon's A Harsh Mistress"
YES! This is the song I have been looking for. My mother was such a fan of this show. This scene touches he heart every time. I put this song on a CD and she stared to cry, she loved it so. Thank you so much. You have made her Christmas.
This was melodramatic but also very beautiful. It's very easy to see how much love Jake and Megan had for each other. The music when Megan died was stunning!
Along with Stone's death on General Hospital and Cindy's death on All My Children, this was most tragic an dtearful. 16 years ago? Wow... No one does it as well as daytime on ABC, nothing compares.
Geesus. I remember crying so hard when BJ died that I got sick. Megan and BJ's deaths were the hardest for me because they were both young and had so much life left to live... especially Barbara Jean :(
"You said you'd never leave me..." I broke down when he whispered those words. One of my favorite couples of all time.

oh, and you can't forget BJ's death on GH. That was a major tearfest. Three boxes of kleenex per day

How on earth did I forget BJ? Now Tony is dead and Bobbie rarely appears. What is GH doing to its history?
