I never noticed it until now but when just before Neo says hmm upgrades there was a little hidden battle that was going on that we couldn't see. Both hands were caught but there was still sound effects going pffft fffft ttfffff and then hmm upgrades. I know many will not believe me. i suspect that in the matrix world you are allowed to have a third eye a third hand or something like that

the one thing i don't like is that here inset really an transition between the first and second. At the end of the first movie he can barley keep smith from killing him, but at the beginning of the second, hes taking on 3 with no problem, other than that reloaded was my favorite out of the three

Neo was stronger at the end of the first matrix, he was absolutely overpowered and could do whatever he wants. He had super speed also. That was removed in the sequels so that Neo wouldnt be THAT strong and that his capacities shown at the end of the first film would remain the same in the sequels: Stopping bullets, flying, kung-fu, thats it
