I'm thinking of buying a cadillac and everybody says only good things about it but the price is suprisingly low and I'm afraid that they may exagerate a bit. Can you tell me if you experienced any problems? also if you bought it online, can you tell from what website?

Nah i bought it from a local music store, problems wise i have had no problems, its a very reliable guitar so long as you look after it, and yh people probably are over exagerating, its a really good guitar for the price, but its not the best in the world! Mine is the cheaper model Cadillac Select, but if i were you id say at least get the 1980 model for just a bit more money, myself i would love the BlackGold version, but its like £600!

kinda hard to give tips on pinches really, different people do it in different ways, and i will admit it takes some practise to be able to do them time after time, but the main thing you want to do is as you hit the string, just slightly knock the string with your thumb and to make it squeel just use some vibrato on it, hard to describe i suppose, but i hope it helps

Yh they really do overprice them, i would love a Gibson Explorer when i have the money.

And i had a les paul before i had this Dean and to be honest i think the Dean is much better, the tone is a lot better, a lot clearer, and its not as damn heavy! so you dont have to worry about your back giving up half way through a gig haha

Yh the sustain is brilliant, but sustain isnt just determined by your guitar. also by how you set up your tone etc, and im running my guitar into my computer using a Line 6 Guitarport, and im using the Line 6 Spinal puppet Amp model

a Dean Les Paul Black Standard, never heard of it......the closes thing Dean do to a Les Paul is probably the Soltero's haha

And i used a Line 6 Guitarport as a MIDI Interface from my guitar to the computer and recorded using CuBase SX3

But i couldnt be arsed to make a whole entire backing track for it myself, so i just made my guitar s little louder than the original song, so that mine stands out over the original. And it does say over to the right that audio and video were recorded seperate, so its a little out of sync in places where i played something wrong in the video (i was rather tired, as you can probably see haha)
