I used stainless steel on the bed , cut out 4" holes each side looks like the viper car exsits. Im not usein air bags any moore, this is a old vid it"s much better built now.

Can you go into detail about the exhaust.

I just completed a 408 setup with an LA block style and couldn't used a high lift cam (.512), the duration is similar to yours. It lopes pretty good with open headers but I've got a cheap poorly installed y-pipe with some pretty serious 90 degree bends. Thorly midlengths as well, I would like to get some long tubes, what do you recommend for cat back kits and/or mufflers? Xpipe, y Pipe? It's on a 97 SS/T Ram.

I have a 5.9 jeep. its got more that that. you have gone JUST above an "RV" cam. Dont pussy around. put somthing with alittle over .509 lift@50 and less than .300 duration@........ with a nice 3200 -3400stall to a manual valve 727...........

this will work as long as you dont drive EXCLUSIVELY in newyork city.......................

it has a .555 lift and it far from being just above a rv cam. yeah I could go with alittle more duration but why ? it lopes good and runs a 12.04 in the 1/4 Im 47 years old Iv'e had my full race cars growing up. this suits ME.. fine.

not the front but the back as you can see i removed the leaf springs and whent with a four link because the leafs were in the way.you can move the spring purches on the inside or you might purchase a 1" wheel adapter thats abought the distance it needs to work with the 13.5" wide wheels just measure from the hub to the leaf.

about three months, the motor was at the machine shop for 2 months because where I live this guy is the best. just one old guy so he gets alot of motors all over. then all the parts from KRC Performance 208 race port heads, ross 10.5.1 comp pistons 408x cam ect you can look on his site and total the $ for parts machine work was 1k because I had him put the pistons & cam in and degree the cam, to install it only took me the weekend by myself.

No, but the rear wheels wont fit becuase there 13.5" wide unless you remove the springs. Thats why I built the truck around the wheels, the four bar set up or you can go with ladder bar.. if you want to get two sets of the fronts they will fit fine.

thats an old video, I got rid of the bags it rode like crap. I redid the backhalf and im useing qa1 coilovers now it rides better than stock not kidding! it's the rite set up now

I was thinking of building up a 408 from a junkyard block and being able to swap it out for my stock 5.9 every 2 years for the smog check but i wouldnt want to do it every time i got pulled over!

its a 408x cam from krc performance 214/224 555" intake 536" exhaust on a 108 lobe sep, its a good cam and has a good lope but in the future maebe the 236x cam
