The kind they are talking about, yes. I'm a type 1 INFP. We're completely different, focusing less on external rules than on our idealistic vision of perfection. I am driven from an internal drive to live up to my own carefully-decided personal values, which are ordered by my Fi (introverted feeling) process into a structured hierarchy. My dad is a type one ISTJ, and is more focused on following rules that others have made. He is orderly and maintains an image of emotional neutrality.
INFP 1s are my favorite type. this type takes the rich inner world and ideals of the INFP and the 1s desire to actually do something about it. this is the type that as a child would see another kid getting bullied and kick the bully's ass. this is a common type for storybook heroes and historical revolutionaries like Joan of Arc
@raigekimaru I am definitely strong-willed and don't give in when a situation requires me to stand up for my values. I am also a pacifist, so I sometimes end up damaged in the process. I got bullied in school. I did not use violence to defend myself, even when revictimized by adults who blamed me for not fighting back. A boyfriend had a gun to my head, threatening to kill me because I wouldn't say I believed something unfair, and I was ready to die rather than lie about it. INFP 1 = martyr
I'm defiantly a one.
