  • it's been done before, see flatbread community oven

  • I think you get better results using a pizza stone on your grill. However, to each their own. Thanks for sharing.

  • Inspired? Uhm, just type in grilled pizza and you will see a video by Steven Reichlen from his TV show Barbeque University that is the same pizza minus the onions. I'm sure what she made is delicious but it's in no way original.

  • Amateur video at its finest. And--a good recipe, too!

  • shut up and cook

  • looks good!!!

  • Basil, caramelized onion, and mozza + swiss on pizza = YUM!

  • I am so going to try this.. except the spraying directly on the grill part...

    and

who cares if the guy making the video was excited...it was his first time and he was impressed..

Their is a first time for everything...!! It was my first time seeing someone put pizza dough directly on a grill... i've seen bbq pizza but with pan underneath.

    Nice video.

  • Why is he so amazed?

  • @sysman76 This idea of grilled pizza has its origins from Italy, on wood burning brick ovens and similar grilles. Technically putting a pizza in a convectional oven is destroying century's tradition of pizza making. Because pizza was first made and still originally made with wood burning brick or clay ovens. Grilling pizza actually seems to be closer to a brick oven rather than your regular house oven.

  • 0.27 Was his contribution here necessary - "yeah baby I'm talking to you about pizza - but this is what I really want you to do" hahaha

  • 03:51 - Party in my pants!!

  • Try it on a wood fire.

  • I am making this now with fresh caught shrimp, halibut, and smoked salmon, fresh mozz, and fresh basil! It's going to be yum yum! Nice vid!

  • Dude shut up about the pizza and ask her out already!!

  • taste good : ]

  • Get a pizza stone cooks way faster still looked good

  • you are completely mad, you've destroyed century's tradition of pizza making, why americans are so idiots?

  • Pardon? If you mean Americans are idiots for grilling pizza, then you should check PIZZA A LA PARRILLA, which is grilled pizza in Argentina! The same thing.

    Don't be so close minded!

  • the dough is Jim Lahey's (famous) no-knead bread dough.

  • Looks so fabulous....but I think brushing olive oil would be tasty instead of the spray

  • The guy talks toooo much, and is far too amazed by pizza on a grill. It's been done before and it's no big deal.

  • always wanted to try this, what are you using to make the dough?

  • This is dangerous, never spray an open flame with cooking spray like they do in the video, you could end up with the can exploding in your hand!!

  • Yeah if your an idiot....

  • No they won't, don't be stupid..

  • @cookinginsideout Unless you stick the can directly into the charcoal and wait around for a couple minutes, the can won't explode.
