  • America ended in 1950. No class no dignitiyy anymore. just bar slop

  • I agree with you and I'm only 19 years old

  • Thinking of Buddy Holly R.I.P and god bless is soul

  • RIP, Ritchie , buddy, and big bopper :,(

  • Apparently BlackEaglePhotos doesnt know wtf good music is then.

  • I'm 23 years old. The music lives on. The music will not die.

  • they didnt desurve to die like this

  • That was a sad day.

All three will be even more loved as the years go by.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • What an incredible loss...

  • Why is everyone on here talking about gangbanger music?? Who cares! This is about three AMAZING artists. How gives a shit about anything else.

  • I don't Doubt Waylon Jennings would have felt haunted by those words he said. That sure as hell would have bothered me. It goes to show you that you should becarefull what you say to someone even if your joking around. you don't know if it will come true. Especially if it ends in Tragedy.

  • Ritchie you are my boy!!

  • cmcharlesmillar shut up its everybodys opinon on what they litsen to u prick how would u like it if i ame on here start making fun off ur fav music and the fellas that died like bob holly and elvis how would u feel fucck u if u dont like rap or hip hop fine but dont be bitching about how u dont like it all the time 2pac and biggie for life

  • 50 years ago music died

maybe because i didnt lived back then i dont agree

but the songs like: "one of us", "all good things come to an end", "zombie"

    like that isnt music

it has power, it has an beleve and it sounds good

of course, i dont know the style of 50 years ago

the oldest song i know and like is la felicidad palito ortega version

  • The music world lost nothing with the death of JPRichardson, but Buddy and Ritchie forever changed the face of music. Buddy Holly did more for Rock and Roll (and nerds, for that matter) than anyone before or since - including Elvis and MJ. RIP Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, you will be missed.

  • @BlackEaglePhotos What a disrespectful comment. The music world lost nothing when Big Bopper died? You don't know how succesful his music career may have been. Hope his family doesn't see that.

  • @musclecarluvr1 Not in the least disrespectful, simply factual. He may have been a great person, but he was not a good musician. Whether or not he would have been successful has no bearing on whether or not he was talented, nor whether or not he added anything to the world of music.

  • @BlackEaglePhotos he was a hell of alot better than that crap that you hear today being played. for that is all it is, is nothing but a bunch of crap and that comes from a fellow Michigander.

  • If Holly's manager and previous record company hadn't been so evil (no hype intended), he wouldn't have needed the money and wouldn't have been caught dead (no pun intended) as big a star as he was in a winter wasteland, on a cheap one-hit wonder tour. That's why the buses were so bad and it wasn't first class cause the people on it were just new and only had one hit each, Ritchie Valens, the Big Bopper and Dion and the Belmonts were nobodies at the time.

  • like they say only the good die young but this will always be remembered as the day the music died :'( if it werent for these men there would be no rock n' roll let the good times roll

  • R.I. P. Boys you will always be young and so we in our hearts will knowing you !!!!

  • R.I.P Buddy Holly, Big Booper and Ritchie Valens, forever in our heart.

  • R.I.P Buddy Holly,BIg Bopper and Ritchie

  • well. thats maybe the 2nd or 3rd day music died

  • thanks for posting very touching they were all my fav singers but in my heart they wont be for gotton R.I.P richie valens buddy holly and the big bopper just a shame they had to leave us great video keep roc'n'kat =:(

  • Man That is sad and tough for Waylon Jennings to live with that. Here is what I found out about what happen.

In his 1996 autobiography, Jennings admitted that in the years afterward, he felt severe guilt and responsibility for the crash. After Jennings gave up his seat, Holly had jokingly told Jennings, "I hope your ol' bus freezes up!" Jennings shot back facetiously, "Well, I hope your ol' plane crashes!"

  • I don't blame Waylon Jennings for feeling terrible it.....i know It would bother the hell out of me.

just goes to show that you have to becarefull what you say even if it is jokingly..you never know if it will come true.

  • ....classic rock! And yes, it did spawn all other kinds of music, but believe me when i say-in the words of that great motown classic-there ain't nothin' like the real thing--but NOTHIN'!!

  • Now that i own all of their music on CD, i can tell u that those legends are as much a part of my life as any other artists. And tell vinom that if it weren't 4 buddy, ritchie and the like, there would be no led zep, no journey and NO foreigner! Not even steppenwolf would exsist! I mean there's classic rock, and then there's...well i know it's like comparing apples 2 apples, but let it be known right here & now that the music of elvis, buddy, ritchie, ed cochran & the rest-2 me, that's the REAL

  • this is real music man serious..

ritchie valens is from the 818 man (gosh)still in our hearts though.... so as buddy holly..haha...

  • u kno its sad cuz they were legends and alwayz will be R.I.P ritchie valens

  • RIP Buddy Holly

  • So let me get this straight you rather listen to some gangbanger swearing and doing drugs praising immorality, drugs gang banging, yup the world really is ending. At least this music you can understand the lyrics and the music was bubbly and happy. Do you people ever wonder why they have so many riots and violence after one of today's concerts

  • wurd.

    I always wonder that myself.

"Hollerin' at Bitches at Clubs" vs. good old fashioned love.

I'll admit, some hip-hop is cool... but not what's out these days.

  • Good comment, I agree with you, who wants gangbanger music. I think they are sick and very stupid. Thats why alot of these rap singers were killed like to pac and others cause they just sing about death if you wanna call it singing, They got what they raped about DEATH. Thats why todays kids are so rude and disrespectful. When will rap ever die and go away for good and never to return?

  • @cmcharlesmillar just to say, the music you mention right there with all the gangs, pimping & drugs make me sick. I can't even switch on the radio anymore without hearing that crap.

  • its a sad story

  • a tear shed for those lost....

  • dont want to offend anyone but i dont like this genreof music, but it did spawn all other rock, so it sucks. long live classic rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (led zep, journey, foreigner)

  • hay u fuckion heartless cunt they died for no reson dont go makin fun of the dead you wouldnt like it if people made jokes like that about you no would u get a fuckin life and if u dont like rock'n' roll why watch it its for rockers only that are actually in to this saught of stuff u prick

  • i dont remember what i said but, your a bitch youpooper. ooooo take that!!

  • hahah i can take that i dont mind mate their only words your a dick well look what u fuckin sid u nut sack why make fun of th dead anyway they've done nothink to u if you dont like them then dont watch it

  • this was great, thanks for posting!!! rave on buddy!

  • pepol die bands die spert and the meorys will never die

copy and past of you think so too

  • That's not fair. Music will never die. It can't die.

  • Rock'n'roll been going downhill ever since Buddy Holly died

  • No doubt!

Best line in a great movie.

  • im not a buddy holly fan, but if it wasent for him we wouldnt have the beatles

  • the beatles were waaaay better! 60's!60's!60's!

  • have you even watched Anthology?????????

I <3 the 60's and feel like i belong there, but I have TONS of respect for Buddy.

    No Buddy, No Beatles

The Beatles= The Crickets + Johns Dream about the Flaming Pie
